Here's the update y'all were DYING for
Wow, I really haven't written in this thing in a loooong time. Hah maybe two weeks? Oh well. A lot has happened....
Shit went down with tryouts, same old typical political stuff. Coaches denying it. Mother getting angry, and telling him what everyone has always wanted to say. And me looking like an idiot. The thing is, I was very upset with the way tryouts turned out. I was upset I didn't make varsity. But thats not what I went and talked to Finney about. Because, I can deal with being on JV another year. I like the girls, and at least I've got Court. We're in the same boat. But the thing of it is, that's most upsetting, is the coach. The way he picks his teams is strictly politics. Who's parents are on the booster club? Who's parents bitch and whine to him about their girl? Yeeah.. those are the girls that make it. He told us all he was 'cutting talent'. Yep. He did. He cut Tina. He cut Lindsay. And he put freshmen and sophomores on varsity. Yep. He cut the only talent he had. His team is worth shit. But whatever, it'll be nice to see how it all pans out. Summer league apparently didn't mean anything even though everyone knows that it is basically pre-tryouts. He says that they had nothing to do with the varsity tryouts. Funny, especially since he was coaching it, and telling people (including myself) that we were 'just what he was looking for for varsity'. Mmmhmm, that has NOTHING to do with the school tryouts. My mom went and basically told Finney everything he didn't want to hear. It was great. Except it was in front of all the girls- varsity and JV- and she started crying which in turn got me going. It was humiliating. But none the less, I have Cote, and he is amazing. Haha, I love that guy. He's an honest character and tells it like it is. He played me the whole game. Told me I was doing excellent. Soph, Court, and I are all captains, which is nice. COnsidering the whole team is a mixture of freshmen, sophomores and then us, the juniors. I like having seniority. The freshmen girls are bitching about positions, but frankly it sucks for them. Half the team plays defense, and 5 out of the 8 juniors play defense. Sorry bitches, but you gotta wait your turn. You're on JV, so you best be getting your attitudes up to speed and understanding that the world doesn't revolve around you anymore.
Anyway.... in other news. I might be getting a car, and it is probably for certain this time. My parents were seriously looking fo rone last night and my mom is going out tomorrow to some dealerships to look. Ahhhh, so niiice. She finally broke down once soccer started. As she says "I can't get anything done if I'm running everyone around town. We're going to HAVE to have another car eventually, so I guess we're going to be looking into it". Yessss.
I watched Constantine tonight with my baaaby. Michael- <3
I've got work 1-8 tomorrow. Damnit. School starts soon. Upside= I don't work as much. Downside= it's school. Shit. It's all for the money though. Yess, I love the $$$$..
