I am so angry and upset now.
FFS, the man was sentanced on circumstantial evidence and testimonies by people who were given plea bargains. I am not saying he was innocent of all crimes, but 'beyond reasonable doubt' was stretching it. Yes he started the Crips, yes he committed crimes. But did he commit this one?
While in prision he has written books and speeches to be given to young people involved in gangs advising them of the dangers.
He has had 5 nobel peace prize nominations for his anti-gang teachings and a letter from the President commending him on his work. Commend someone then kill them?
I am not saying he should be released, but why kill?
How can we teach people not to murder if the government sanctions killings?
