Work sucks and massage tables rule life is really that simple
So I thought I was going to kill someone at work on last nights over night. First off for anyone that does not know I work the front Desk at a Hotel. My job is simple enough check people in make reservations pick up the phone ect ect ect and help the get to the best of my ablate. What I really wind up doing is getting yelled at. A lot. b/c people are stupid don’t read and don’t know when someone is trying to help them and don’t know how to take the phrase “I’m sorry but there is really nothing I can do for you at this time we are sold out, short of calling other guests and ask them if the would share there room’s with you” ok maybe I leave off that last part but ya know what I mean if you have ever worked with the public…. They suck.
So I walk in to my overnight shift, on pretty much no sleep (this is the only part that is my owe damn fault b/c I really could have gotten more sleep) not only is there a some what large VEARY needy group hear,(this means I’ll be fielding LOTS of phone calls) not only are we getting airlines in (these are people that are shipped to us after there flight has bin cancelled and they hug around for anywhere from 30 min to 5 hours waiting to be shuttled out to us so you just know that they are over filled with joy once they make it to *me*) BUT WE WERE STILL OUT OF FUCKING COFFEE!!!!!! So yea death all most rained down.
As for yesterday nothing really happened except sleep. Lots and lots and lost of sleep. then came to work. wow i am boring
Things that made me go “awwwwww” this week.
1)Suzie and Shelli loves me lots
2) Bri informed me that she would never be too old for hugs and kiss
3) Ninja offered to build me a walk in closet when he found out that that was “the dream”
All though to the last one I had to point out that I don’t have a home for him to do this in he then offered to build it out side. Now while his heart may have bin in the right place I had to point out “that that would not be a walk-in closet it would be a shed”
I all so did not have the heart to tell him that if he is going to try and help with anything Tabby and I decided was “The dream” he would be helping with a very long list.
Maybe type up that list and post it hear just so me and her have a record of it ……hmmm food for thought indeed
