(no subject)
i swear to pete, i am not that much of a light weight, there must have been something else in that sangria last night because one cup really did a number on me! i missed joe's band, but enjoyed the party. i think joe was happy i showed up after i was done babysitting and i got to hang out with that kid jesse some. he is now my second favorite 19-year-old, right after geoff. also, his friend eric was cool too! we'll call him the new third favorite 19-year-old. while my one cup of sangria was hitting me hard, the two of those guys kept me more than entertained. i totally enjoyed talking with the two of them.
something a little weird, joe d. knows a guy who was a best friend of my ex (the one i moved to portland with) and the guy, jon, was there at the party. portland can be so small sometimes! i said hi and junk and he was totally nice, though he was a bit to drunk to do much conversing. he said jason was doing okay (i haven't heard from jason in a few months and the number i have for him is no longer his), but he didn't sound very convincing.

i forgot to mention that i made a kick ass marinara friday night with a bunch of tomatoes from my garden, fresh basil, two carrots, a green bell pepper and other spices! daniel came over bringing andrea to eat with john and i. i met andrea when she and daniel popped by at last thursday, but it was cool to actually talk to her, she's totally sweet. everyone hung out in the kitchen with me while i was cooking and we all talked (i love that), then we played a bit of we heart katamari. it was cool.
