Ok dude... you need to get a grip. There were alot of people in the New Orleans area who were of low-income status. Even though they were told to leave the area before Katrina hit they weren't able to because they were too poor to get out of there. Many of them didn't have cars.... and for those who did - didn't have enough money to get themselves gas to hightail it out of there! So don't go thinking that they were stubborn or stupid - they were just too poor to leave!!!
As for your comments about Bush - of course I can tell you're obviously a Bush supporter. Aside from my sympathies I will also say that no matter how much Bush has done for them - he did it far too late. He was too busy enjoying his vacation to go and do his work. He didn't even call anyone out on the poor response to the aid given out after Katrina hit until a week later.
And before I sign off let me just respond to your little 'safety' riff - Four years ago this Sunday President Bush was in office... and my city was attacked. Hopefully you'll come out of that sense of denial you're in and realize that we're never going to be 'safe' again. :-p
You're obvisously in a sense of hatred. As for Bush, I never voted for Bush & still he became our president. I have voted for Kerry & Gore the last two time he ran for president. Yet, I will support my president.
As for everything you just said, you're just another person that don't want to move on & get attach to things. I'm not gonna continue saying things that will hopefully convince your mind because you have already made up your mind.
