so summer is pretty much over, well for everyone else at least, i still don't start school until september 7th, weird hofstra. i haven't updated at all this summer, because i've been so busy, or at least really lazy. let's see, this summer was so amazing. first of all, my job at camp, just as awesome as i thought it would be. i am so proud of me and conway for getting the jobs we deserved and then helping to turn that place around. i learned so much from being group leader, having 9 people under you, waiting for you to tell them what to do is a pretty crazy feeling. i was stressed out most every day because i really didn't realize how much responsibility came along with my job. making sure my counselors were in line, the 60+ kids in 1st and 2nd were happy and safe, dealing with the parents and all their issues, the paper work i did daily involving money, trips, etc. it was a tough job, especially with our new strict boss, but it felt really fun to be in control. haha. also, i loved the kids in my group soo much, they really made the job that much better. and working with my co-group leaders, maryann and especially jackie, taught me soo much, it was a great support system to have all summer, especially when big problems would arise. i miss coffee runs with maryann, hanging out in the art room with meghan, dance practice with my kids, being called into bob's office every two seconds, summer camp bob!, running up the stairs a million times in our relatively small camp, "you're my favorite counselor from the grades", meghan povar, meg's showstopping "defying gravity" performance, "heyyyyyy heyyyy baby", naily mcghetto queen, sophia's crazy antics, kicking kids out, life goes onnn, aaalex, lanyard speeches, THE FRONT DESK, crazy times. besides all that work junk, i did so many fun things this summer! baseball games, concerts, parties where so many silly things happened, putting all my crazy sayings into everyone else's vocabulary, coffee dates, the funniest trip to pennsylvania, repetitive blue bra stories that got wiped out after chris's party, bunk bed rooms, and other cool things like that, haha. so many of my friends left already, sad day. i miss everyone already! oh daddy long legs!!

i am so bored during the day, i really miss working. luckily i start classes soon and then my cool after school job at holy name! hooray! i am soooo excited. my fall semester is going to be so hectic. first of all i'm taking such hard classes, psych seminars and such, yuck. then i have my after school program three days of work, and then babysitting three days a week. yesterday i actually thought about studying and writing papers and i got a little sick, i swear i got dumber over this summer. haha ::hung wah sigh::

i guess that's all, butch walker/gavin concert tonight! and we are totally skipping out on avril. bleh. i have so many concerts coming up, yay!
