I got a call at lunch from Jacob saying he was at a yard sale and there were a ton of movies. so he named off a bunch and I said yey or nay. He got I heart huckabees, This is spinal tap, Natural Born Killers, American Psycho, Lost in translation... he got 11 movies for $4 a piece. So Ian and I wanted to take a look and I got Virgin Suicides, Billy Madison and the Terminal.
We had segregated staff breaks where the guys wore hard hats and ate chicken wings and the ladies when to the Solbergs and had High Tea. I ate so much. I wish it hadn't been separate I wanted chicken wings.
So fun. Ian, Jacob, and I walked from their Apt to the pool hall. Well Jacob and I walked the scenic fun grown over jump the creek rout and Ian walked along the road. We met up with some people and hung out there for a while I watched I am not very competitive so I just watched.
On the way back Jacob, Justin and I stopped at Kenai Joes to "suck one down" then went to Jacob and Ians apt to watch I heart Huckabees.
Saturday I went clamming with Jacob in Ninilchic. So fun!! We left way to early based upon the time I went to bed.
We had 3 clamming guns. We watched and looked for clam bubbles in the sand then we would sned the clam gun down and suck them up with our brute strength. We were there for low tide and stayed untill the absolute last second to get a clam. We would just move up the shore line as the water raised. After a while I got so weak. One time I caught a clam and sand covered the top of my gun and I just couldnt lift it up. Jacob had to help. Any other time it would have been easy but since I was doing it for like 2 hours I had no energy.
Then we took them back and took the shells off so discusting. there was a work team that just arrived and we were cutting the clams from their shells and the would flex their muscles and we'd scream and throw them. Then I got easier as we got used to them then they would flex their muscled and we were cutting them open and we'd scream.
Then later I went into the kitchen and hard core cleaned them. It took me 2 hours to clean them. Well, we had a 10 gallon bucket full.
