You know, I never knew why it was called 'falling in love,' but I do now. You become in love with someone, and everything is so great to the point where it can't get any better. You feel like nothing can mess up, becuase everything is absolutely perfect. Once it can't get any better, you suddenly realize that you are no longer climbing a mountain. You walk off the edge, begin to 'fall', and you realize nothing is perfect. You begin to fall straight down to reality. You stop getting his calls, he doesn't talk to you in the halls, he no longer passes you notes, he doesn't brag about you to his friends anymore, the compliments stop, he loses that sparkle in his eye, and all the sweet suprises are gone. As you fall you watch the memories, good times, bad times, smiles, laughs, cries .. it all just passes by. It's gone, all gone. You're back at the bottom of the mountain, and this time you're all alone. Somehow you're trying to find the strength to climb that mountain, knowing that you could fall. You will have to find a new 'guide,' and hope they will help you know the best paths to take. They help you overcome obstacles, they will shelter you when the rain starts falling. Once they help you reach the top, you pray they won't leave you. Not many 'guides' will stay on the mountain forever, so be careful. Alone on a mountain you will fall... and keep falling. If someone is there with you as you stumble, they will catch you before you fall. So before you 'fall in love,' understand that falling can be very painful. The person you hope will catch you COULD be the one that pushed you down.
