I always wonder if I should opt out of a kink, and then I say, "Nah, I can always work around it."

I... how would Good Omens breath play even WORK? (By which I mean, DO IT DO IT DO IT).

Also regarding the ones you don't really get - with kinks that I don't get, I usually try to focus on an aspect of them that does work for me? Like, with tentacles, rather than focusing on the actual TENTACLES I would give it maybe a bondage slant, or focus on the lack of control or whatever. Similar thing with watersports. Not really my thing at all, but I have read fic where the focus is more on a control/denial thing (like, people having to hold on or whatever) which I have kinda enjoyed.

So I guess my suggestion would be to find the angle of the kink that DOES appeal to you and write to that? ALTERNATIVELY, you could do something like a picspam or maybe a fanmix, where you don't necessarily have to get the kink to produce something for it? It's easy enough to collect pictures of tentacles being suggestive without actually finding it hot yourself.

AHAHAHA I LOVE YOU. (I... oh god I want to read that now. Preferably when they are all grown up and having ~nostalgia or something, but even so, MY BRAIN. WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT?)

I was thinking more Crowley/Aziraphale, and the fact that neither of them actually NEEDS to breathe, but I think I like that interpretation better.

Yeah, I am only tempted by Good Omens breathplay if it's Aziraphale/Crowley. Because if I can figure out how you write breathplay for characters who canonically forget to breathe, it's going to be glorious.

I need to strategize. I probably won't need to make that Beast With a Billion Backs picspam since tentacles is in a row with watersports and another row with electricity. And maybe find new pairings because I would be super-stoked about Humiliation (In Public) if I could convince myself that any of my pairings would go for it.
