(no subject)
So, today is tuesday, August-something: 3 days before the end of the Swedish course, 5 days before the arrival of my friend Cristina here in Sweden, and 21 days before my comeback in Italy.
Those two weeks of course were awesome: my spoken swedish improved, and this...immersion in Uppsala, in the swedish coulture, was amazing. I discovered the joys of swedish food (NOT) (Blame on you, "dill", blame on you!)but mind you, true swedish food is YUMMY (meatballs, potatoes, jams...) but what we have here is basically international cuisine re-interpreted in a swedish way. Which is quite crappy. Don´t get me started on (swedish) italian food....LOL
Anyway, The beauty, the beauty of this country is just a dream. I spend hours in the parks, I even started go on bicycle again, just because it´s great to go bicycling in the parks.
I´m really happy, and I can´t wait to see Stockholm again...and Luleå, too :)
I don´t have much else to tell, actually. Days are passing quietly (except for the paties at night..LOL...sometimes, mind you ;) and It´s a difficult time for me not to start drinking heavily just like people here do...:P It´s awful, everyone drinks. The most I was "forced" to drink, thou, was a little glass of Russian wodka.....my goodness, it was BAD.
The truth is, I don´t like alcohol, I HATE alcohol, so there´s not much risk for me to become an alcoholist anyway.
Unfortunately I don´t have much time for a really nice update, bacause time available for computers is really short, here. Free, but short. I´m just sorry I dont have the time to read LJ, I´m missing you all :( But I´ll try to catch up once I come back in Italy.
