Why do people keep flaking on me?
I asked my friend, Ciara, to edit my story for me. She said she would and (I assume) she started. Then three days later she calls me and says she can't do it, she was too busy. Now I understand that she may have a lot going on and that she may not have time to edit it for me, but what pissed me off was when she said she was too busy with summer stuff.
I didn't say anything and told her it was fine. Then when I was at home writing, I texted her saying hey, and she replied back saying "I can't edit your story, sorry."
I was more than slightly peeved by her rude response and didn't talk her for awhile after that.
She didn't seem to notice.
Ugh, all I wanted was a freak'in editor.
