No pissing on my parade.
So i'm pretty sure it's been over a year or so since i last posted. Somehow among the chaos of school and moving and whatnot, i forgot about dear old livejournal.
I live in my own apartment now. It's really small and is hard to keep clean because of my roommate. I live with a boy named Scott Jenkins. I've known him since 7th grade (met him at Vampy) and so far living together hasn't turned out to be all that bad. We've struggled a bit with money, and right now he doesn't have a job that brings in enough money so i'm stressed out about that. But he's been one of my best friends since i met him, and it's nice to have him around.
I'm not currently in school due to some medical issues, but i'm planning to return in the spring, and see how smoothly things go from there. I'm excited to be in school again. It doesn't feel normal not being in school. I'm used to always having to study something. I feel kind of useless right now. Fortunately i've found some really great books to read in the meantime, and i'm hoping to have them all finished by the time that school starts.
I'm not currently working right now either. I have a lot of jobs pending right now, and i'm basically just waiting for someone to call me, because i'm pretty sure i've called them to the point of being really annoying. I don't want to work in lexington, so i'm restricted to really shitty jobs. We'll see how things go. (i know, i know. i'm not in school, i don't have a job. how much more like justin thurman could i be?)
On the other hand. I have great friends, and i'm feeling really good right now. Justin is moving back to Richmond...and i'm currently taking care of his dog. Her name is Daisy, and she's becoming a really good friend of mine. Right now she's biting my foot, and i think that's her way of telling me that we should go watch The Notebook together, which i think i'm going to take her up on.
