It was at about this point that I lost it. And I have read this already, like twice. AND I STILL LOST IT. I happened to have a pillow within my grasp and I am so glad I did, because it gave me something to clutch very tightly.

For once in his life, Ando knew to shut up and listen.

By drawing on the powers of the volcano while Rei was trying to tame it, he’d unleashed more fire than even she could handle.

I am not kidding, by eyes felt all sting-y and pinprick-y because there were actual tears threatening to spill.

You write drama so well. Enviously, gloriously, heart-wrenchingly, beautifully well.

The destruction that Tokyo and the Senshi have faced is so clear and pretty and easy to visualise. This is SUCH a creative, intriguing and just awesome fic. If this were in novel form, there would be nothing, NOTHING which could persuade me to put it down. NOTHING.

Now, having said that, I am going to the chocolate/drinks machine to buy myself a Kinder Bueno. This chapter has induced Bueno-frenzied eating feels. And I sincerely hope that I don't meet anyone along the way, because I am literally too sad right now to talk to people. They'll be all ' You alright, Charlie?' and I will look at them and then scream out 'DO I LOOK ALRIGHT? ANDO'S JUST REALISED WHAT HAPPENED AND SHE'S GONE AND KILLED OFF SO MANY OF THE SENSHI! CRYSTAL TOKYO WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE LIKE THIS! AND HOW CAN YOU JUST WALK AROUND BEING NORMAL?!' and then I will probably lose my job.

I absolutely LOVE the Airmail series. Love it, love it, love it. I am an obsessed fangirl, to the highest degree. And I always will be. This chapter was brilliant.
