I think 'Jane Eyre' must be one of the best wish-fulfillment fantasies ever. Not only does the mousy girl get the landwoner but the mousy girl's bullies all come to terrible ends.

I really should stop reading for pleasure and start reading more academic material. But a girl needs to escape!
