Apr 13, 2016 07:13

Today was Lauren Conrad's live book chat om Twitter and
everyone could ask her some question about her new book 'Celebrate'.
If you missed it, below are every question from the fans and Lauren's answers..

What was your favorite party to plan/shoot in #LCCelebrate?
My wedding! My dear friend @cassandrabette was my wedding planner,
which made the process a lot more fun.

Do you have any tips of what to do with left over food, decor, ect after the party?
Because I throw parties so often, I keep most of my decór. Or you can sell it on @Etsy :-)

If you could just give one tip for entertaining, what would it be?
Get everything done ahead of time so you can enjoy the party. Celebrating should be fun, not stressful.

What is your favorite recipe in #LCCelebrate?
Definitely the crepe cake from the baby shower chapter :-) It tasted just as good as it looked.

What was the hardest + most enjoyable part of the writing process?
Celebrating with my nearest and dearest was definitely the most fun part of making this book.

What's your favorite hostess gift to give when you're attending rather than hosting?
I like to give gifts that someone can eat, drink or burn. Some treats, a bottle of wine, or a candle.

How do you pick a bridesmaids dress that everyone will like?
I chose a color palette, and let my bridesmaids choose whichever @papercrown dress suited them the best.

What do you prefer, hosting a party or being an attendee?
Personally, I love hosting. There's nothing better than giving your friends an excuse to celebrate.

What's your favourite holiday to celebrate?
It would have to be a three way tie between Christmas, Thanksgiving and the 4th of July :-)

What are your tips/advice for throwing a dinner party in a small apartment?
Don't be afraid to move your furniture aside, set up a folding table and rearrange your space.

If you are going to be a guest on a baby shower party , what would you wear?
Pastels! Also, I just designed an entire collection for my @LCLaurenConrad line inspired by the book.

Engaged, and READY to get married but not ready financially. Any suggestions other than saving?
Get crafty! I took on a bunch of DIY projects for my own wedding, which added a personal touch.
