While reading this take into consideration that for the most part this is what I turned in. So I didn't change it for this, anyway enjoy, sorry if it is boring.

Twenty Questions

1. Tell me something you do well. Be specific.

Answer: Something that I do well is playing the violin whether it is performing in church or at a school function.

2. Describe the "perfect day."

Answer: To me the "perfect day" would be one located on a secluded beach filled with an enormous roar of contagious laughter. It would include my parents speaking words of encouragement and love over one another and my youth group parading around having a grand old time. My ENTIRE family would be there and I would be meeting most of them for the first time, we would all come together and unite. The day would come to a close and I would wish wholly that it would never end...

3. What book has made an impression on you and why does it stand out in your memory.

Answer: The book that has made a huge impact upon my life is most obviously the Bible, it stands out in my memory b/c I try and read it everyday and it has all of the answers I could ever need. Other than the Bible I was so drawn in by, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, by Mitch Albom, I read it this summer so that is probably the reason it comes to mind. It altered the way I thought without me even noticing it. The 5 people you meet in heaven are people that affected your life or that were affected by yours. They were all interwoven so beautifully that I was pulled in.

4. What, if any, sports are you involved in and where (school or outside team)?

Answer: I am involved in track and field here at Laguna, more specifically I pole-vault. I enjoy pole-vaulting because to me it is the most unique and that is what pushed me to do it. I also love to run and do so on a regular basis with my family (my mom and sister) or my friends, I was planning on taking cross country but that would interfere with my church responsibilities.

5. What radio station(s) do you like and why?

Answer: I love to listen to K mozart because it is very soothing and there are no words to distract you, if anything it helps you concentrate. I usually listen to it while I fall asleep. I also love the Fish, b/c I love praise music, nothing gets you more excited about your day than some uplifting songs. Just because I'm christian doesns't mean I can't listen to secular music so I also listen to 106.7 k rock, which most of the songs you can relate to your everyday life.

6. What do you like to watch on TV?

Answer: I absolutely love Friends and I'm so disappointed that they ended it. They hit so many issues that I feel are important scenarios to think about before they actually happen so that you already have an idea of how you would react, plus it's just funny. I mean come on take the "joke man," Chandler, he's even funny looking (just kidding). I also love that it is centered around..well... friends which are one of the most important things in my life.

7. Who is the most famous person you've ever met (or seen)?

Answer: The only famous person I've ever met or seen was a guest on 7th Heaven. His name was Mike and he WAS Lucy's bf. He was the one that had commited suicide and failed. He also took care of his mom who was sick. My friends and I saw him at the Phantom of the Opera when the school's music program provided it.

8. What was your favorite game as a child?

Answer: My favorite game as a child would have to have been Pretty Pretty Princess, of course I lost all of the pieces. It was just fun fighting over the crown, excuse me, tiara, with my friends and pretending that I was royalty.

9. In what other era would you have enjoyed living?

Answer: I would have loved to live in the renaissance period because I'm pretty sure that's when all of the women got to wear those drop dead gorgeous dresses. Also I loved that everything was changing or reforming, as is apparent in the other label of the era, the Reformation. I believe change is good and it brings about new ideas which change the world we live in. I would want to live in that era because I would of loved to be apart of a change in the world, I would somewhat live on, if you will.

10. With what person who is no longer alive (famous or not) would you like to converse?

Answer: This is soooooooooo easy, I'm sorry I know that that is misspelled, but I need you to understand that it would be so magnificent to have a conversation with Jesus. I could ask him so many questions and he would just have the answers, I could ask him why did you give thieves mercy? I could tell him thank-you from the bottom of my heart for dying on the cross for ME! I could ask him how he would describe heaven? I could see what he looked like if he is a human, (says man was made in the image of god) if he is yellow, purple, or just indescribable
. I could ask him why he made us, man? (What WAS he thinking? hahaha)

11. Of all the places you have been, which is your favorite place and why?

Answer: Well, I have never left the U.S. so my answer is not going to be very interesting, but from where I have been, my favorite place would have to be my Aunt's house, my Aunt Aleda, b/c there are so many memories of when I used to visit there all the time before my parents split and my mom moved my sister, me, and my brothers out here. My my heart and my true home will always be in Texas. My Aunt's house is filled with love esp. love of the lord, bustling with life, full to the brim of wisdom from the young to the old. I love to be surrounded in such a place with a breath taking view of the stars, sunrise, sunset, and my family. Most people get to see their families at holidays and that, but me I'm lucky if I see them once a year, and I think that makes her house all the more magical because I'm not there often.

12. Complete the following statement: "Someday I would like to..."

Answer: "Someday I would like to..." be in a relationship of pure love and have the most precious gifts that God could ever give me, children of my own, or that are orphans.

13. what does your room reflect about you? (e.g. What colors do you like? what do you collect?)

Answer: I love the old fashioned kind of antique look, such as "ancient" quilts. I also love wicker furniture. I collect water-globes something entices me, I believe it is the fact that there is a completely different world in each and if I look in it I can imagine being there. They are sort of escapes for me.

14. Describe your favorite meal.

Answer: My favorite meal would have to be tater-tot/ green bean casserole which my dad makes. It included tater-tots, string green beans, ground beef, cream of mushroom, and fried french onions. Of course if someone else makes it, it doesn't have that certain zing to it that my dad's has.

15. If you were an animal (non-human), what would you be?

Answer: If I were an animal I would definitely be a butterfly, I first get to be a caterpillar and EAT and lay around leisurely, then I get to hide in a cocoon and SLEEP that's a cool deal. Finally, the best part is I get to do what I can only do as a human in my dreams. The only downside to this is they only live for about 2 days, but if there is a heaven for butterflies I get to arrive there soon.

16. If you could travel someplace you've never been before, where would you go and why?

Answer: This question is hard for me because there are so many places I would love to visit, but I think I would choose Kenya. I would like to go there with my church on a mission trip because it is not fair that kids and even adults grow up and live w/o ever hearing the word of God, we need to serve others. It's not fair to have such a privileged life and to give nothing back.

17. What are your parents' occupations?

Answers: My mother is a project manager at E.M.I. which is a new job to her she has had to start from scratch, but she learns quickly. My dad has been working at where he is at, Lovefield (an airport in Texas), he works in aviation. He mostly works on the interior of the planes. In other words, he is a mechanic on airplanes. He is a supervisor and one time they worked on a prince from Saudi Arabia's private jet.

18. List the names and ages of your siblings.

Answer: 1. Bruce Brown 20
2. Megan Brown 17
3. David Brown 13

19. Do you have any pet peeves? (=What really bugs you?)

Answer: My number one pet peeve is people who talk about others, or put simply, gossiping. To be honest I do catch myself doing it sometimes and I have to keep myself in check, but I believe that it is important to challenge yourself not to do it.

20. What advice would you give an incoming 6th (or 7th) grader about junior high?

Answer: I would tell them to not be fooled by no assigned lunch tables, more freedom, b/c the people change. Somewhere from the end of 6th grade to the beginning of 7th grade it seems like everyone has changed. If they become "popular" then they will never speak to you again unless it is to make fun of you to your face. There ARE clicks find a nice one that you REALLY fit in with. When high school comes at least at Laguna Hills High, I believe there are still the popular and the not so popular but I believe that we respect one another more, and you are free to be friends with the "goths," "preps," "druggies" (though I highly suggest you don't), or the :"nerds" whatever people usually respect your choices.
