A couple of weeks went by since Gackt first pounced me…and we were functioning as we always had…well except for an occasional grope from my irritating master among other things. “Gackt,”
“Hm?”
“Can you seriously stop squeezing my ass? It’s annoying.” I grumbled as we walked down the street.
“Shouldn’t have such a nice one.” Gackt purred, nipping at my ear. I blushed, before elbowing him.
“Stop that.” I ordered glaring at him.
“But whyyy?” Gackt asked, nuzzling me.
“It’s annoying.” I grumbled. We were heading home from shopping for dinner.
“Haido,”
“Hm?”
“I have to go away for a while.” Gackt said quietly. “I have to take you with me.”
“….Where are you going?” I asked.
“Paris.” He replied, tilting his head.
“…Paris?” I couldn’t help but repeat.
“Yep.”
“….Why the fuck Paris?” I asked, glaring at him.
“I have a business meeting there, I know your friends are here, and everything but I have to take you. This meeting will last about six months.” Gackt explained with a small pout.
“S…SIX MONTHS?!” I demanded, my eyes going wide. “What the hell kind of meeting-?!”
“I can’t really talk about it…just trust me…and come along. Please?” Gackt asked pleadingly.
“When is it?” I asked blinking.
“We have to go next week.” He sighed.
“….Next week?” I asked, my eye twitching. “Gackt why the fuck do you always do this?!”
“Do what?” he asked, pouting.
“Wait until the LAST MINUTE!” I snapped.
“Actually…I didn’t know until the last minute.” Gackt muttered. “I need you with me…I’ll be surrounded by people I can’t stand, for six months, and I need you for certain things that I’m still too useless to do…like cooking, and taking my clothes to the dry cleaner.”
“You’re such a big baby.” I growled. “Give me some time to decide it.”
“….You have until three days before I leave.” Gackt warned tilting his head.
“….Sometimes you irritate me.” I admitted.
“I know but that’s why I love you.” Gackt whispered, kissing me lightly.

“So he’s leaving?” Tetsu asked, behind his glass of sake.
“Yep.” I replied leaning back in my seat.
“Sucks huh?” Ken asked through his cigarette.
“Not really he said he wants me to come with him.” I mused, looking around the restaurant.
“Well it’s a good thing you don’t really have much to do here, otherwise it would suck.” Sakura chuckled.
“I didn’t say I was GOING.” I reminded them dully.
“You’re going.” Yuki and Tetsu said bluntly.
“I didn’t say I would! Why would I anyway?” I asked, giving them a dull stare.
“Face it, you’ll be bored to death without him and you’ll miss him.” Ken replied with a small smile.
“No I wouldn’t. “ I protested.
“….He’s still in denial it seems. I wonder if he’d still be like that after he finally sleeps with him.” Tetsu mused while the others nodded.
“W…What the fuck? Do you really think I’d sleep with him?!” he asked getting very irked.
“Oh what do you know? It already happened.” Sakura sighed.
“Yep…he hid it so well too.” Yuki chuckled.
“Wh…What makes you think it happened?” I asked, glaring at them.
“…He’s so cute.” Ken giggled meanly.
“I really don’t like you.” I growled.
“We love you Hai-chan.” The others cooed.
“Yeah whatever.” I grumbled, standing up. “I have to go now guys. I’ll talk to you later.”
On my way home, all I could think of was what it would be like to be Gackt free for six months. No more nagging, no more groping, no more sudden romps on the couch (Yes he started doing that after our first time….no I don’t want to talk about it….so nyeah.) , no more whining, complaining, random stupid injuries, crazy demands and training sessions that could kill me. I smiled as I got closer to home. Yeah I can do six months without him.
When I walked in, Gackt was talking on the phone in fluent French. He sounded a bit annoyed, but by the tone of his voice he was talking business and wasn’t caving to this person. A few more moments later, he hung up. “Fuck.” He sighed.
“What?” I asked, heading to the kitchen to fix dinner.
“I have to go tomorrow.” Gackt replied. I stopped in mid step.
“…Tomorrow?” I asked, blinking.
“Yes, tomorrow.” Gackt said quietly, biting his lip. “You have to decide today.”
“Um…I can stay.” I said after a moment. A hurt look came on Gackt’s face.
“Ah…I see.” He said with a sigh. “You know Haido…I’ll miss you.”
“I still need to find more out about my father, it’s the main reason why I-“
“I know, you don’t have to explain anything Haido.” Gackt chuckled brokenly. He walked over to me and kissed my cheek. “I’ll miss you.”
“I…I’ll miss you too.” I admitted, feeling a bit bad that I’m denying him. “I’ll pack your things.”
My master took my wrist in his hand gently. “Haido, cook dinner first will you?”
“Alright.” I sighed, letting him kiss my head.
Dinner…was very strained and quiet. You would think he’d speak a lot…knowing that tomorrow we’d be part for six months, but instead all I got was silence. I wonder if he hates my guts right now…
When it ended, he bid me goodnight with a kiss, before going to bed.

I woke up with a massive headache…and it was noon…normally I would have been going on with my day long before. There was a letter and a rose on the nightstand…the letter said Goodbye Hyde, I miss you already. That’s all it said. It slowly began to sink in. He was gone. Gackt left. “Paris huh?” I asked quietly. This can’t be bad. I can do six months without him. I smiled to myself and walked into the kitchen, to make me some coffee and a nice brunch.
I went by my boring and nagless day, humming to myself and drawing…and already missing him. Of course I wouldn’t admit it. No way in hell…but…I really did. I already missed him nagging the hell out of me, groping me, coaxing me to eat healthier…and stretch more. I missed his random kisses, and his teasing demeanor.
I poked my lip out, going out to eat…I wonder if my friends can join me. I called up everyone and to my complete and utter delight…no one was available. Tetsu was working, Ken was working, Sakura was with someone, and Yuki….was working. Isn’t this great? I’m all alone….well this was sort of what I wanted right? I shouldn’t complain…I did say I could handle this right? Gackt you jackass…come back already!
I pouted, staring into space, biting my lip. Oh this is grand isn’t it? It’s RAINING now? I glared out the window cursing whoever decided my schedule alone would be so…BORING. I leaned against the couch, glowering at nature and everything else in particular.

“Hideto, be a good boy and stay here for a moment.” A very tall, shadowy figure said gently.
“Yes Daddy.” I replied, staring up at it.
“Don’t do anything mean, and don’t fight.” He said, running his fingers through my hair.
“Hm?” I asked, tilting my head.
“I love you Hideto. Be good.”
“Daddy where are you going?” I asked, watching him leave. I started to walk after him, when bars flew up in front of me. “Daddy!” I wailed, reaching through them. “Don’t leave! No!”

I snapped awake to my phone ringing obnoxiously. “Hello?” I asked in annoyance.
“How are you feeling Haido?” Gackt asked quietly.
Um…well…you know.” I mumbled, looking around.
“You forgot my favorite tie.”
“I’m sorry, it was so sudden and-“ I started, rubbing my temples.
“It’s alright, are you taking care of that thing about your father?” Gackt asked, sounding a bit tired.
“I plan to do so tomorrow…why?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Well…how you were talking yesterday…I thought you’d hop to it instantly.” He chuckled in my ear.
“I kind of thought so too…but…I didn’t get my usual wake up call, so I kind of woke up late.” I admitted feeling my face heat up.
“I’m sorry, I meant to wake you, but I woke up a bit late myself.” Gackt admitted. “Is it raining where you are?”
“Yes,” I replied, staring out the window again…it was perfectly matching my mood.
“It’s snowing here.” Gackt sighed.
“Is it nice?” I asked, already picturing him by his window smiling. He always loved the snow.
“Almost as gorgeous as you are.” He gushed, making me feel my face heat up. He’s so ridiculous sometimes.
“Pretending I heard nothing…” I muttered.
“Haido, I love you…and I miss you terribly already…and the chef they gave me sucks.” Gackt whined.
"Hmmm…sounds like a personal problem.” I mocked…then sighed. “I miss you too Gacchan.” I admitted.
“I wish you came with me. I honestly do.”
“I know and I kind of wish you could have stayed longer.” I admitted, leaning against my window.
“You can still come.” My lover stubbornly offered.
“No.” I replied just as stubbornly.
“Okay, but…if ever possible…I’ll be waiting.” Gackt promised with a heavy sigh.
“I know.” I admitted, feeling a bit bad that I’m doing this.
“Get some sleep Haido,”
“You too Gackt.”
“Goodnight.” He said quietly.
“…Goodnight.” I hung up the phone and sighed, staring out the window. Well….maybe I’m just deluding myself…
I know what you guys are thinking...."It's about TIME!" But seriously, sorry guys. I hadn't been able to write due to life and homework in general. The next chapter should be up sometime today or tomorrow...and then there will be one more chapter. ^.^
