I was about to get ready to go out, and spend my last day with Amanda, but when I opened the door, my fellow members of X were standing in the doorway. "Wha-?" I started when Yoshiki rolled his eyes.

"What kind of greeting is that?" he demanded, before tilting his head, and going blank in the face like I was. "Wha-?" he mocked.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, pouting.

"To see you of course." Toshi laughed, hugging me.

"No, to work...I've decided that we can do most of what's left to do for X here, since you were so hesitant to leave." Yoshiki said, giving me a very mean glare...but I saw through it...it was his 'I'm going to pretend that I'm an evil dictator and blame the reason behind this weird decision on you' face.

"Oh, okay." I said, smiling brightly. "Well come in guys."

"So, who's this Amanda?" Pata asked, as we sat in the studio going over the music we had to edit. Yes...Yoshiki saw my music sheet and approved of what I did to it.

"The most wonderful girl in the world." I confessed, blushing.

"Is she nice? If she isn't then I'm going to have to dissaprove." Heath put in.

"Of course she is...I hate mean people." I reminded him.

"Can we meet her?" Toshi asked, wrapping an arm around my neck.

"BACK TO WORK!!" Yoshiki shouted, turning to us from the tuning table.

"Wait...what are we supposed to do? We just finished recording everything, and you're usually-" Pata started to lecture, when our leader glared at him darkly. "Sorry." he meeped.

"This song doesn't sound right no matter what I do to it." Yoshiki growled, turning back to the table.

"It sounds just fine to me." I said casually.

"Your ears are dead." Yoshiki snapped.

"Then call me Beethoven!" I laughed. Everyone else joined me in the laughter, as Yoshiki glared at me.

Later that night I called Amanda...and of course...it took her forever to answer the phone. "Hello?" she asked.

"Hello Ama-chan," I greeted.

"Huh?" she asked.

"It's my nickname for you, you don't like it?" I asked.

"It's cute." she giggled. I smiled at that, before telling her the good news.

"Guess what? I can stay for another month!"

"Really?" she asked, sounding as excited as I felt. "You can really stay longer?!"

"Yep, but I'll be very busy though, I have to do some of what I was supposed to go to Japan for." I muttered, pouting.

"So...your other band mates are here?" Amanda asked.

"Yeah, but they're just as busy as I am, if not then moreso." I sighed heavily. "Hopefully by chance you'll get to meet one of them. They seem to be as interested in you as you are in them."

"Why?" Amanda asked.

"I don't know." I laughed. "Why don't you ask them when you finally meet?"

"hide don't tease me like that." she whined fakly.

"Worri, worri."

"Hm?"

"Oh um...let that be your lesson for today. Worri, means 'sorry'." I explained with a chuckle.

"Oh, okay." Amanda laughed softly. "Are you going to be able to see me today?"

"Nope, I have some more work to do, then I'll have even more tomorrow...Yoshiki's working my ass off...the jerk." I muttered, pouting.

"Well, no worries, when you can, come and see me okay?" Amanda asked, sounding more understanding then I thought she would.

"Alright...I'm sorry Amanda." I said again, feeling really bad. I just confessed my feelings to her, and hoped to spend as much time as possible then this happens. "I'll see you every chance I get."

"Okay," Amanda chuckled. "I have to go now, I have a few more pictures I need to develop."

"Alright, I'll talk to you again soon Ama-chan." I whispered.

"Alright, bye." she said, before hanging up. I did so too, pouting all the while. Sometimes I wonder if Yoshiki likes to tease me with vacation/work yourself to death tendencies.

"So, is she upset that you have to work so much this month?" Toshi asked, as we worked on our photo shoot. It was his turn to take photos, while we watched. He was wearing a victorian shirt, holding a goblet. He looked very much like a prince, my total opposite. The month was almost over, and I was to leave soon...it really sucked. I wanted to spend more time with Amanda but Yoshiki had so much for us to do, that we barely had time to sleep let alone hang out.

"She was actually understanding about it." I replied, tilting my head. Toshi didn't really have to do much posing...and he was the most photogenic out of all of us I suppose. Part of me was very envious of that.

"That's good...most girls are very demanding, and can't really understand the life of a rockstar." Yoshiki mused, as the hair dresser kept playing in his hair.

"True," I sighed. "But...what if the understanding doesn't last long?" I asked with worry.

"If she's perfect for you then you don't have to worry about that." Pata said reassuringly, giving me a smile. The make up artist glared at him and tapped her foot. "Oh, sorry." he muttered, facing her again.

"It's your turn Yoshiki." The photographer called, as Toshi got out of his chair. The drummer/pianist walked over to the area to take his photos. As always, he was shirtless, and his short blond hair was resting nicely...instead of spiked. I think it would look better that way but he always glares at me when I suggest it. Instead of sitting in his chair, he stood near it as if he would, posing beautifully, as the camera ate him up. Like Toshi, it wasn't hard for him to take photos...and I was kind of jealous of that too. Out of all of us, he was the most confident I believe.

"Hopefully, our reletionship will work out, since she does make me unbelievably happy." I admitted, while the make up artist went over to me, and took off my shades.

"She will, after all...you're the most awesome person who walked the earth Hi-chan." Heath said, smiling at me. He had long since finished his part of the photoshoot, and was happily lazing about...isn't he lucky?

"Thank you." I mumbled, smiling sheepishly.

"She's a photographer right?" Yoshiki asked tilting his head back, putting on a very beaitiful expression.

"Yeah," I replied quietly, as the woman put on my lipstick. I wish she'd just let me do it myself. Ever since we became famous I haven't been able to work on my own makeup, and some of my photos don't come out the way I like it because of it.

"Is she any good?" Heath asked, watching the make up artist work on me.

"Yeah, she takes beautiful pictures, wanna see one?" I asked, smiling.

"Hey! I can't do your eye make up when you do that!" the make up artist growled at me.

"Oh, sorry." I mumbled, going blank in the face again.

"You have one on you?" Toshi asked, grinning.

"Yeah, in my wallet...in my pants pocket." I replied. When Yoshiki was done, it was Pata's turn.

"Woow, she's took that?" Yoshiki asked, while the others stared at it in awe.

"Hey, I wanna see." Pata whined.

"Look at me." the photographer ordered. The guitarist pouted, as he did as he was told. Pata is a very cute person, and he takes good photos, even though a good amount of them have that 'I really don't care.' air about them. I love watching him take photos. I also like to force smiles out of him. When the make up artist finished with me, I walked towards him and started making faces.

"Stop that!" Pata giggled, looking as if he wanted to punch me.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because you're ruining my pictures." the photographer snapped at me. I could tell this guy was one of those real hardasses, that was too serious about his work...another Yoshiki. I glanced over at my bandmate, who just so happened to be looking at me as if he wanted to punch me.

"I'm sorry." I grumbled, sitting down. Pata continued to take his pictures, without another smile, while I sat there bored and fidgety. I wondered what Amanda was doing...did she miss me as much as I missed her?

"hide, it's your turn." the photographer called. I stood up and walked towards my chair. I was about to sit in it, when the photographer stopped me. "I'll need for you to sit next to it."

"Huh?" I asked, tilting my head.

"I think you'll take wonderful pictures like that, go ahead and sit down."

"Okay," I mumbled, doing as asked. I really hated taking pictures, for one, I'm not that attractive, for two, I can't really do what I want...people always make me take wierd pictures.

"Pull your collar up," the photographer asked. I popped up the collar to my leather jacket, and when asked, I tilted my head to one side, giving him a blank look. After a few pictures of doing as ordered, I widened my eyes and tilted my head back...I love doing that, because they usually don't have time to tell me not to until it's too late...and they usually end up liking these pics...but not this guy. He was sooo mad at me.

"hide, what did you do that for?" Yoshiki demanded, as we left the photo shoot. "I don't think he'll ever work wtih us again!"

"Like I care...he was so...stiff with me. You know I hate that." I growled, glaring at nothing special through my sunglasses.

"Don't be so hard on him Yoshi-chan," Toshi said quietly, patting his shoulder. "The guy was boring. I didn't like half of the pictures we took."

"I agree." Heath added, pouting.

"I liked the last one though." Pata said, smiling. "Well the last seperate one hide took."

"That's because he did something he wasn't supposed to!" Yoshiki snapped.

"Exactly." I laughed.

After having a drink or two to celebrate finishing our photoshoot for the tour book, I finally went home and called Amanda...only to get the answer machine that I finally talked her into buying. "Hey I guess you're out somewhere, call me when you get back okay? Ja ne." he said joyfully, hanging up. I then plopped on my couch, pouting. Yoshiki is such a grouch...it's not my fault I didn't like how my part of the photoshoot was going.

As soon as I thought that, the phone rang. I hopped off the couch and answered it. "Hello, my Ama-chan," I greeted with a smile.

"How did you know it was me?" Amanda asked as her smile cracked into the phone.

"Just my amazing Japanese intuition." I replied casually, staring up at the ceiling.

Her laugh hit my ears, making me smile even more. "How was work today?" she asked.

I sighed at the memory of how crappy the photoshoot was "Very busy. I had a photoshoot today for the new tour book. Why they couldn't wait until I got back to Japan I don't know, but whatever."

We both grew quiet, with the reminder that I was going to leave soon. "Do you know when you're leaving yet?" Amanda queired, breaking it.
"Actually, I do. Next Wednesday morning." Six more days...I have to leave in six more days...great. "And I'll be really busy until then making sure things won't fall apart over here without me."

"I was hoping I'd get to see you again before you left," Amanda sighed, sounding as mopey as I felt.

"Oh, you will," I insisted. "I'll make sure we get to spend some time together before I go. I'll be gone for at least 3 months, you know."

"I know, don't remind me. I'll really miss you." Amanda confessed, making me not want to leave even more.
"Oh come on, I sent you 'Mugongeki'. That should tide you over, shouldn't it?" I asked, pouting. I really didn't want her to feel that way...it's bad enough all I have of her was photos she took...no matter how beautiful they are, the fact that she's not in them makes it even harder to deal with. At least she can look at the photo book of me every time she felt lonely.

"Though those pictures are gorgeous, they're not as good as seeing you. Plus, you don't wear makeup and clothes like that on a daily basis, so it'll be a false impression of the real you." Amanda insisted.

"True...well, I have tomorrow morning free. Want to get breakfast?" I asked msiling.

"I'd love to. And you can tell me what the hell those poems say." Amanda suggested, sounding a little frustrated with the fact that she couldn't read it.

"I'll try. They'll probably sound really stupid in English, but I'll try." I said with a chuckle, deciding to give her a freebee just this once.

"Okay. And I'm driving tomorrow, since you came to pick me up last time we went out." Amanda decided.

"Deal. I'm exhausted, I need to get some sleep. You go to bed too, it's late." I ordered, pouting. I wanted to talk to her all night, but exhaustion and the fact that Yoshiki was going to get me tomorrow afternoon to nag me some more didn't help.

"Yes, Father," Amanda laughed. "Good night."

"Oyasumi, Ama-chan." I said sweetly before hanging up.

Most of this as some of you who've read the original chapter already knows...most of this version came out of my head. XD I hope you guys like it.
