“Gackt,”

“Yes?”

“The power’s out.”

“I know.”

We were in our hotel room in Taiwan, and it was pitch black…and exactly midnight. Hyde was sitting on the bed, and I had just walked into the room. “You know, it’s hard to do anything when it’s so dark in here.” Hyde mused, sounding slightly annoyed.

“That’s true…for YOU anyway.” I dared to tease.

“What do you mean?” the demon asked. I called some of my angelic power, and made myself glow slightly. Hyde’s eye twitched slightly, as he stared at me. “Show off.” he muttered, shivering slightly. It was more then obvious that my angelic aura was overwhelming him a bit, but there wasn’t much we could do about it.

“So, are we going to go over the lines or….Never mind.” I sighed, when Hyde walked up to me and wrapped his arms around me.

“I don’t feel like it.” He mumbled. I smiled slightly, patting his head.

“What do you feel like doing?” I asked, smiling at him.

“….Nothing in particular.”

“Do you really need the light or no?”

“….Mmmm.”

I smiled, running my fingers through his blonde hair. He was so cute like that. We walked towards the bed and sat on it, doing nothing in particular. His eyes were watery and his heart rate was up higher then usual…I guess this was the highest setting I can put my angelic powers, before he turns into a blubbering child.

Hyde let out a heavy sigh, continuing to cling to me. It was very peaceful and quiet the entire time, as we sat there, content with the world…all until the lights turned back on. As soon as it did, I reverted back to my human self completely, smiling to myself. “The lights are on again.” I mused, while Hyde stood up and walked across the room.

“Okay I’m going to work on my lines.”

“Need my help?” I asked, tilting my head.

“….Not really.” Hyde mumbled, blushing slightly not looking at me. I knew on the inside he really wanted to cling to me some more, not doing anything at all….but the outer part of him, enjoys his solitude and wants to be alone in the fullest extent.

“…Okay.” I said, smiling slightly. I sat on the bed, again, going over my lines as well, giving into both of his wishes.

It felt as if we were sitting like that forever, when all of a sudden, the lights went out again. “Gacchan,”

“Hm?”

“The power’s out again.”

“No it’s-” I stopped as I stared at my lover, who was trying to play nonchalant. “Never mind.”

Hyde sat next to me, as I started glowing.

“You’re so pretty.” he gushed, wrapping his arms around my waist and resting his head on my chest.

“No I’m not.” I mumbled, rolling my eyes.

“Yes you are.” Hyde protested, snuggling closer. I walked with him to the bed, before sitting back down. We leaned against the bedpost, just sitting there…doing nothing at all, but an occasional rub of the arm, or tight snuggle. Eventually he fell asleep like that and I chuckled, running a hand up and down his arm, staring off into space…not knowing whether or not I should suppress myself again. I couldn’t help but to feel nothing but joy, holding him like this. If nothing needed to be done, I’d probably continue doing so….so I just continued to sit there, pretending as if I didn’t need anything.

“-chan, Gacchan it’s time to wake up.” I heard Hyde call to me gently, rubbing my shoulder. I opened my eye slightly, before shutting it again. “Gackt we have to shoot in about twenty minutes, if you don’t get up I’m going to eat breakfast without you.” My lover warned meanly. I opened my eyes then pouted.

“Fine, fine…geeze, you don’t have to be so mean.” I muttered, sitting up. Hyde gave me a smile, running his fingers through my hair.

“Your rattails are the only things not sticking up.” He giggled, before kissing my cheek. “Come on Gacchan, let’s go to the café.”

“Okay,” I yawned, climbing out of bed.

“Hurry up and get ready okay?” he asked, watching me sleepily get dressed. “We also need to go over our lines, since we were slacking off last night.”

“Mmhmm,” I hummed, smiling.

“Gackt, you’re getting overly giddy again.” My lover muttered, while we started heading towards the door. “You know, I kind of wish you were my only light source.”

“You’re just saying that because I look like a glow worm with legs.” I grumbled, blushing.

“Glow worms are hideous, you’re not.” Hyde laughed.

“Well…that’s nice to know.” I mused, blinking in surprise. We continued walking down the hall comparing my glowing form with random forms of light….ignoring the funny looks we got in the process.
Yeah I know that I have to finish this story....but I can't seem to do it...T.T
