It’s been a week since I turned 15 and I’m starting to get used to it all over again. I still hate it though. I’m still being bullied, I’m still dodging the truant officer, and I’m still…the nerdy, skinny, pizza faced pushover I’ve always been. So far, I seem to be the only one who hasn’t made a huge mistake at this age…hmm…let’s see, when I was fifteen last time, I got tricked into being stood up on my very first date, I took the blame for someone else’s crime in school…oh yeah….and I disappointed my father for not being as strong as he ever was. The others seem so much more comfortable in their own skin…and content with their world too…but I can’t stand it.
I was sitting on my bed, glaring at the wall…when my doorbell rang. Expecting the guys, I casually walked to the door…to see the truant officer and two other police men staring at me. “Young man, it’s time you come with us.” he said giving me a firm glare.

I found myself sitting in a van, with the others in it. “Where are we going?” I asked looking at them all…to see how miserable they were.
“To school,” Gackt grumbled, pouting.
“…..You must be joking.” I gasped, gawking at them.
“No joke,” Hyde sighed, looking elsewhere.
“I don’t wanna go to school.” Miyavi wailed. “Melody I hate you!!”
“Melody gave you up?” Chachamaru asked.
“She told them that I was her younger brother and I moved in with her and I….and sent me to school without hesitation. She’s evil.” The scrawny blonde wailed in his hands.
“Heh, Yukina had to tell them that I’m her son and sent me off to school…because she likes to torment me that much.” Gackt grumbled.
“Megumi said I was her nephew and did the same thing…since I wouldn’t sleep with her.” Hyde sighed, sulking.
“Pata asked me to come over, and when I went out to go see him, the truant officer was right there.” Yoshiki grumbled, looking elsewhere.
“I got caught walking down the street.” Chachamaru sniffed. “All because I wanted some coffee.”
“How did they get YOU Ju-ken?” Gackt asked, tilting his head.
“….They just walked to my home and woke me up.” I sighed, pouting.
“What are you going to register your name as?” Hyde asked Gackt.
“….I guess my real name, you?”
“…..I’ll use my real first name, but I’ll use a random last name.” Hyde replied, pouting.
“Same here.” We all sighed.

“Class we have a new student,” the teacher said gently, patting my shoulder. “Now don’t be afraid, introduce yourself.”
“Junichi Sakaguchi.” I said quietly, before trying to sit down, only to be tripped. I could tell already…that this was going to be a looong year.

Lunch time arrived, and I sat down next to the others…to notice one of them was missing. “Um…where’s Gacchan?” Miyavi nudged me. “I mean Satoru.”
“Well, what happened was…” Hyde started.
- - - -
“Please sit down you two.” The teacher asked Gackt and Hyde. The two boys nodded, before heading to their seats, only for someone to trip them.
“Whoops, I’m soooo sorry.” One of them said falsely, extending a hand to Gackt. The tall, angry teen accepted the gesture…a little TOO nicely. The boy screamed in pain, as Gackt smashed his fingers, twisting it behind his back and forced him on his desk.
“What’s wrong? Never had a proper hand shake before?” he asked, while Hyde giggled loudly and shamelessly.
“Okabe-san! Let go of him NOW!” the teacher ordered. Gackt did as he was told, before taking the boy’s seat.
“Sorry sir.” he said innocently, batting his eyes at him. The boy who picked at them, stood up and swung, only for Gackt to kick him in the stomach, knocking him on his face.
“That’s it, you’re going to have a little talk with me…during lunch time.” the teacher decided.
“Okay,” Gackt replied, shrugging.

“Turns out, Sa-chan doesn’t like it when people fuck with him.” Hyde mused, eating his lunch happily.
“Neither do I, but I don’t fight, I just prank people.” Miyavi said with a smile, pointing across the cafeteria. We turned to see this guy walking around, with this huge wad of gum plastered to the back of his head. “He still hasn’t noticed either.”
We all snickered at this, holding hands to our mouths.
“What did you do Yoshiki?” Miyavi asked. The proper and quiet teen smiled darkly in a manner that made us all think of his X Japan days, holding up a screw.
“What’s that to?” I asked, tilting my head.
“His chair.” He replied, casually, drinking his juice.
“So Junichi-kun, what did you do?” Hyde asked.
“….Nothing.” I admitted.
“NOTHING?” everyone asked, gawking at me.
“Why not?” Miyavi asked, raising an eyebrow.
“I guess I don’t have it in me.” I replied, shrugging.
“Why not?” Yoshiki asked, titling his head. “I mean, you can’t let people bum rush you into submission all the time. You have to put up a fight for SOME things.”
“But, what about getting in trouble?” I asked.
“Who cares? We’re adults and we can pretty much do as we like anyway…well anything legal.” Chachamaru chuckled.
“It’s just wrong and it’s not in my nature to get even…or get loud.” I admitted, blushing slightly.
“This is why people bully you Ju-chan,” Chachamaru sighed.
“Yukihiro it’s not that simple.” I whined, resting my head on the table.
“Hey look, it’s the new kids.” a voice giggled suddenly. We turned to see a group of wanna be badasses that I know Gackt would eat for lunch glaring at us.
“Hello, I’m Yoshiki, who might you be?” Yoshiki asked, standing up and extending his hand. The leader spat in it. I watched as he wiped his hand, then looked at Hyde. “Let’s hope he doesn’t have a class with me.” he whispered in English, before winking at him.
“What did you say you fucker?” the leader demanded, glaring at us.
“I said what a nice jacket you have…I wonder where you got it.” Yoshiki dared to tease, tugging at it. The leader punched him…and that’s when the fight started.

“This behavior is inexcusable!” the principle shouted at us, pacing up and down the office. “First YOU beat up a classmate in the classroom, then YOU put gum in someone’s hair, and YOU…I don’t know HOW you managed it, but you took someone’s chair apart and then ALL of you started a brawl in my cafeteria!”
Gackt rolled his eyes, while Chachamaru snickered. “Guys,” I whined.
“What do you have to say for yourselves?” the principle demanded, glaring at us.
“Heh, they deserved it.” Gackt said bluntly. The man snatched him by the collar and glared at him.
“What will your parents think of you, if I told them what you were up to?” he demanded.
“Actually, they’d agree with me.”
“You think you’re so smart don’t you?”
“Well they did start it.” Yoshiki piped up. “They were poking at us, thinking we’d cave which is very immature and ignorant, so we played at their own game, to show them what happens if they pick at someone who knows much more then they do.”
“Oh, so you think you’re smarter then your peers?” the principle asked.
“Yep.” everyone but me said bluntly.
“What about YOU young man?” the man asked, looking at me.
“Um…uh…” I mumbled, looking at my feet.
“Look sir, can we go now? School has ended and-” Hyde began when the principle glared at us.
“No, you’re staying after school…so you can see how smart you REALLY are.”
“Okay,” we agreed, giving him a slightly annoyed look.

“All of you are at a college level with everything…especially YOU Okabe-san.” The principle said in awe. “You excel in EVERYTHING…including foreign languages.”
“Yeah so?” Gackt asked, raising an eyebrow.
“And YOU, your English is pretty good, I’m surprised you haven’t grown up in America.”
“Thank you.” Miyavi replied in English.
“None of you seem like normal teenagers at all.” The principle mused, pacing around the classroom.
“Well we’re not.” Chachamaru chuckled.
“I can see that…that’s why I’m putting you all in advanced classes.”
“I’d prefer home schooling actually.” We all muttered, looking elsewhere.
“Why? So you can become mindless delinquents? I don’t think so.” the principle decided, giving us a mean smirk.
“Heh, lovely.” Miyavi sighed, looking elsewhere.
“How fun?” Yoshiki asked, rolling his eyes.
“Why can’t you just let us be home schooled?” I asked, near tears.
“When you grow up and become fine young men you can always come back later and thank me.” the principle decided, with a smile, before leaving us in the mostly empty classroom.
“I really hate this.” Yoshiki sighed. “Satoru, every time I look at myself in the mirror I can just punch your lights out.”
“I’m sorry.” Gackt sighed, staring at his desk.
“Well, all we can do is mend our mistakes as quickly as possible.” Chachamaru decided.
“Yukihiro, what makes you think we all know what mistakes we made?” Miyavi asked, tilting his head.
“I have no idea.”
“….Anyway, I guess we can solve Ju-chan’s first, ne?” Hyde asked, as they all looked at me.
“Mine? Why?” I asked, getting nervous.
“Because you’re a pushover.” they replied dully, titling their heads.
“Oh how nice of you all.” I scoffed, rolling my eyes.
“How should we help him?” Hyde asked. A huge smile formed on Yoshiki’s face.
“The same way I learned…we’re going to stand in the background whenever a bully comes at him…and later we’ll show him how to properly respond…telling him what he did wrong.”
“Who taught you that?” Gackt asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Toshi.”
“Really?” Miyavi asked.
“Mmmhmm.”
“I just pranked people from the start.” the youngest of all of us confessed, tilting his head. “It’s fun to do really.”
“I agree, I started in the first grade.” Chachamaru admitted, smiling.
“I don’t prank, I just beat the hell out of them.” Gackt said bluntly, his eyes narrowing slightly, as he stared off into space.
“Heh, I do whatever suits me at the moment.” Hyde mused, examining his nails. “Oh, it’s getting late…we need to get home.”
“I need a cigarette.” Miyavi sighed.
“So do I.” Hyde and I agreed, nodding.
“Too bad we can’t get any without help.” Hyde sighed in frustration. “Do you know how much trouble I run into trying to get a pack? It’s like trying to jump in a pit of rabid dogs with a freshly made steak in the middle of it calling out to you.”
“Only you would think of food in this situation.” I chuckled, as we left the classroom.
“Neh, let’s go to my house, I’ll fix you guys some curry.” Gackt offered, as we walked out the building.
“Oh that’s a good idea. Thanks.” Chachamaru giggled, hugging him.
“No problem…after all…all of this insanity is my fault.” Gackt sighed.

Eating dinner at Gackt’s house…as a teenager is so much more different then doing so as a grown man. For one, the food seemed like it was never enough, and the alcohol affected us much faster. In no time we were all drunk out of our minds, falling over on each other, inches from passing out in our own vomit. It was unbelievably awesome.
After dinner, we all stretched out in the living room, sharing cigarettes and each other’s company. “I remember my first drink,” Hyde giggled, snuggling up against Gackt. “I went to a party with a bunch of my friends, and…Someone gave me some punch…hehe, actually it was vodka with a hint of punch. I got so fucked up I couldn’t see straight.”
“I bet you were in trouble when you got home.” Chachamaru giggled.
“Yeah, I was…that’s when my dad and I…” he trailed, off shutting his eyes.
We all grew silent, staring off into space for a long time. “I wonder what my parents would do if they saw me like this.” Miyavi mused suddenly. It was exactly what all of us where thinking…but he was the only one bold enough to ask it.
“….My parents were ashamed of me when I was like this.” I confessed, not even wanting to think about paying them a visit.
“Ju-chan, even if they did, you shouldn’t worry. We’re not ashamed of being your friend.” Yoshiki said gently, patting my head.
“If you say so…” I sighed, before losing myself to my dreams.

I woke up the next day to a splash of water on my face. “Hey!” I shouted, glaring at Gackt.
“Morning Sunshine.” he greeted, wearing a teasing smile.
“It’s time for your first bullying lesson.” Yoshiki said, smiling kindly, as I got up unwillingly with Hyde‘s help from behind. “If someone slaps you, in the face….what do you do about it?”
“Huh?” I asked, when Gackt slapped the taste out of me.
“What do you do about it?” he asked, watching me hold my face in agony and surprise.
“…Nothing.” I replied, backing up.
“Nothing?” Gackt asked, gawking at me. “Okay, so you do nothing…but every day I slap you like this.” He slapped me again, this time, it was hard enough to knock me on the ground. “I do this to you EVERY DAY…and you don’t do anything….won’t you get tired of it? Won’t you grow to hate me then snap? If you snap too late…you might do something you’ll regret.” Tears formed in my eyes, as I stared at him.
“But that’s just it Gacchan, I already have.” I said with a sniff.
“What happened?” Chachamaru asked, as they all gave me that same worried, and sympathetic look.
“I don’t want to talk about it.” My voice cracked, as tears started flooding. It was a memory I didn’t want to remember…especially now that I have to relive this year of my life all over again.
“Ju-chan, what happened?” Gackt asked, resting a hand on my shoulder.
“I said I DON’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT!!” I shouted, pulling away, knocking Hyde over.
“Ju-ken!” They shouted after me. Okay guys, I lied…I might have made the worst mistake out of everyone at the age of fifteen…but talking about this isn’t my cup of tea.
I know I have other stories I should be working on, especially since I can't babysit anymore...but this story is falling out of my head. ^.^;;
