Dear Friends,

Okay, so the church I've been going to celebrated their three year birthday today, and in celebration, after church they had a feast of Jumbelia and other Cajun foods. I could tell my youngest sister wasn't having a good time, so I though it would be funny if I called her on her cell phone to talk, even though we were only sitting about 15 feet away from each other. So I call her, and she starts laughing at how dumb I am for calling her, and I can tell she's starting to loosen up... and that when things got really interesting. At that time, a man in his late 70's/early 80's walked into the middle of the semi-circle we were sitting in,looked at me and asked "Is that phone call for me? Are you taking my calls?" He seemed sane enough to me, so I decided to go along with his joke and said "Sure, would you like to talk?" and I held out my phone, of course I never really thought he would take it. Yeah...I was wrong! He takes my phone and, not realizing that he is standing on front of the person on the other end, starts talking. Now, my sister is a really good sport, and she obviously knew what was going on because she was sitting right there, so she starts playing along as well. Before I know it, this man asks my sister out to lunch, tells her that she can call him "Great Grandpa Bob" and that he's only 28 years old, and lets her know where she should meet him. Okay, at this point we're all laughing because this man is obviously just kidding. He gives the phone bacl to me and walks away. No big deal, just good clean random fun.

Haha, now it gets REALLY good...and wierd.
So I'm talking to me best friend who was visiting and got to come to church with me. As I'm talking to her, I glance past her and I see this little gril, maybe six or seven years oln, twirling and playing with a prostetic leg. Yeah, that's right, someone's leg!!!! I grab my best friend's hand and I'm like "Why is that little girl playing with someone's leg?!" She looks over and sees the girl, she also sees Great Grandpa Bob...MISSING A LEG!!!!!!!! This is pretty much more then either of us could take, so we start laughing so hard that we're crying. My sisters can't see what's going on because there was a big beam in their way, so we fill them in on what's happening. As we're talking, these two little girls walk over and I could tell they had something to say, so I said hello and the older of the two said "That's my Grandpa over there, and he says you should call him". I smiled and laughed and they walked away, returning moments later to inform me that their Grandpa(who, if you haven't figured out already is Great Grandpa Bob) said that "You girls are ducks!"
Honestly, I had no idea what that meant, so I started to get a little weirded out. they left again, and I could tell they were getting another message for us, so I decided it was time to leave. I stood up and my everyone followed suit. My sister's threw away their trash and my best friend went to tell her folks goodbye. When she walked away, it reavealed the two little girls again, they'd been standing right behind her. It was like something out of a horror movie where you close a door and realize there's someone hiding behind it. Anyway, the older girl looks at me and says "My Grandpa says this is your prize."
Go ahead, take a wild guess what she was holding...THE LEG!!!!!!!!!
What the heck was I supposed to say to that?! I smiled and said that their Grandpa was being silly and I sent them on their way, but I was so freaked out!

I think that has to be the most random thing that has ever happaned to me, and I lead a pretty random life! I know this post was long, but there was no way I was going to keep it to myself and not share this one with you guys. I only wish you all could have been there to see it, I'm afraid words just don't do it justice.

Love ya all lots!
Hannah Leigh.
