Not So Lovely Complex - Chapter 16

Dec 28, 2011 06:12

Please forgive me for posting this so late; it's actually posted on AFF. xD
No one comments anymore so I'm sort of feeling melancholgy about Livejournal now. (Forgive me!)

Now that they were a known group, they figured they’d be spending more time at the studio and writing more songs than before but they thought wrong. It was a Saturday and they were sitting in the living room, bored with nothing to do. Soohyun and Dongho sat next to one another on the couch, carelessly flipping through the channels on the television while Kiseop and Eli were sprawled out on the floor playing Muk-Chi-Ba; Alexander was busy texting since Onew had a show with the rest of SHINee, and that left Kevin and Kibum, sitting in the recliner together, whispering about something to do.

“We could always go shopping.’

“With what? Our looks?”

“Well, Binnie, you’re looks can get you anything, but I do have money from the amusement park, ya know.”

Kevin chuckled a little, “I forgot you still worked there. Has anyone said anything to you?”

Kibum shrugged, smiling a little. “The boss said since we’ve debuted, we’ve gotten more business at the park than before. I guess it has to do with the all the fans bringing their boyfriends because they want an autograph.”

“Wow! We’re really doing that well?” Kevin flinched when Dongho turned to him and told him to quiet down. “Sorry… So, Bummie, we’re getting popular?”

“I guess so… I can’t be certain, though.”

Kevin blinked a few times in confusion as he watched Kibum look away, worried evident on his face. He didn’t know why, maybe it was because he still felt bad for the fight they got into that morning or because Dongho has been over working himself with this new Baseball team he’s suddenly apart of. But whatever it was, Kibum was fretting over something and it made Kevin ache.

“Let’s go on a date, Bummie; just you and me.”

Kibum looked at him them, his lips twitching up in a slow grin. “I like that idea. Anywhere specific?”

“Somewhere people won’t know us and can’t see us.” Kevin pressed himself closer to Kibum. He looked up at his boyfriend through his lashes, “Somewhere fun and mysterious; maybe somewhere we can be alone without actually being alone.” He traced shapes over Kibum’s loose shirt, grinning when the older one reacted to his innocent touch. “Where we can just be ourselves and let loose.” His skimmed his nails over the hot skim above the band of his jean.

Kibum shuddered before shaking his head, “I know the perfect place.”

Kevin’s eyes darted around the neon lit dance floor and glowing walls, his arms instinctively circling around Kibum’s arm and squeezing, the excitement building in fast increments as he watched couples dancing, most consisting of the same sex. “You brought me to a gay bar?”

“Well…it’s not really a gay bar; it’s a same sex love bar…”

“So it’s a gay bar.”

“Yeah, pretty much.”

Kevin blushed until his body felt like it would melt. He hated it when he felt like that, but he couldn’t help it; the way the couples danced against one another shamelessly, some even shimmying down and made provocative movements like no one was around them. He envied them a little because he knew he and Kibum wouldn’t be like that in public…except maybe tonight.

With a sly grin Kevin yanked Kibum onto the dance floor, giggling when the older stared at him in disbelief and awe. Kevin stepped out of his innocent shell and started moving his body to the beat of the music-his voice wasn’t the only reason he was picked to be in a new boy band. He let Kibum hold loosely to his hips as they both swayed together, rubbing against one another every now and then as they felt in step and moved to their own beat. It was funny to Kevin that he was at a gay bar with his boyfriend, but he found it funnier that no one snapped pictures of them pressed against one another and stealing kisses every now and then.

“Kibummie, let’s go get a drink,” Kevin breathed against Kibum’s ear, reveling in the older one’s shiver. He felt giddy as they made way through the crowed to the bar. H wasn’t quite the drinking age but with Kibum next to him, the bartender didn’t even card him. The drink was strong and it made his body tingle.

Soon he was one his fourth drink and on cloud nine hundred. He was tripping and leaning against Kibum more than usual with a fit of giggles leaving his lips. Kibum only smiled and shook his head, saying something about Kevin being a light weight but it was cute. Kevin didn’t know when or how they ended up at a table in a dark corner but they were there furiously making out, completely oblivious of the people that still danced around them.

The taste of alcohol on Kibum’s lips was intoxicating and mind blowing. His nerves felt on edge. He felt like was flying high in the sky and with every touch to the skin he received he thought he would go crazy. “Kibum…” Kevin smoothes his hand down Kibum’s shoulder and arm, slightly brushing against the thin t-shirt that covered his chest, and dipped it beneath his waist band. With bold excitement, he cupped the older one, enjoying the way the older’s cock hardened instantly.

Kibum jerked while biting back a hackled moan. “K-Kevin, st-stop, we can’t do this he-“ He cut off abruptly at the light squeeze Kevin gave him, probably to shut him up. “Kevin, stop.” When the boy didn’t listen, Kibum gently grabbed his hand and moved it away from his body, smiling softly when Kevin looked up at him with glassy eyes, “Let’s go home and do it right; I don’t want anyone else hearing you scream my name.”

With visible reluctance, Kevin nodded and allowed Kibum to pull him by the arm out of the club. He was shocked to see that it was already dark outside and slightly bitter. He hugged himself close to Kibum who more than willingly slipped his arm around him. They didn’t go straight home, instead they went to a small convenient store to grab a few stacks for them and the others, but something happened on their way out.

“Excuse me, are you Kevin Woo and Kim Kibum?”

Kevin turned with his bag of stacks in one hand and Kibum’s hand in the other to see quite a few people walking over to them, some with cameras. He and Kibum quickly let go of each other’s hands, smiling and nodding when the girl asked again. For the first time ever they signed autographs and took fan photos. Some asked them why they were out so late and why Kevin looked so tired. They laughed it off and excused themselves, saying they had to return home with their snacks for the others. They waved and hugged the fans that blocked their way to the bus stop, laughing as more photos were snapped of them.

When they walked onto the bus and sat down, Kevin dropped his head to Kibum’s shoulder, thanking God that no one smelled the alcohol on them. “That was close.” Or saw them walk out of the bar.

“Sure was.”

They held hands on the ride back, sighing contently when they got off the bus and walked into the house; sad thing was, though, five other guys were waiting for them. They grabbed for the snacks quickly then stood there and stared at the two that looked at them dumbfound. “Yes?”

“You two are trending on Facebook, Twitter, Soompi, and Myspace. What the hell did the two of you do?”

Dongho, who had been sitting at the kitchen table on his laptop exclaimed, “They walked out of a convenience store together.”

“What?” Everyone turned to Dongho, Kevin’s and Kibum’s fear of being seen at the club suddenly forgotten.

“Yeah. Fans saw them walking out of the store with snacks, snapped some pictures and videos and got them to sign some autographs, which the two pop idols did happily. It says, ‘Although it was late and the two KPop Idols looked exhausted, they went out of their way to buy snacks for their fellow band mates that were probably at home resting and staying warm. Fans have exclaimed about the two best friends looking like a couple as they walked to the bus stop together, waving and smiling to their fans, and have come up with a nickname for them: KeMaru. The name stems from the nickname Kim Kibum had in high school, Marumir, and Kevin’s first two letters of his name. Hopefully, soon, we will see more the friendship between the new group, U-KISS.’”

Alexander was the first one to laugh, “They came up with the same name we did for you guys.”

Kiseop cleared his throat when the laughter got out of control, “Am I the only one aware that Christmas is tomorrow?”
