There are so many great anime theme songs that it’s hard to single one out as a favorite. I considered “Kagami no Naka no Actress” (“Actress in the Mirror”), OP for Kimagure Orange Road’s final 12 TV episodes... “Zankoku na Tenshi no Thesis” (“Cruel Angel's Thesis”), OP for Neon Genesis Evangelion... “Active Heart”, OP for Top wo Nerae! Gunbuster... but finally chose “Toki o Kizamu Uta” (“A Song to Pass the Time”), OP for Clannad After Story. In the full-length version, Lia does a beautiful job with the vocals. Second place would be “Egao ni Aitai” (“I Want to See You Smile”) for Marmalade Boy. That song is used so well as BGM variants throughout the series. I think I have ten versions - and I listen to them all. (YouTube: Marmalade Boy OP) Seems like Marmalade Boy gets a lot of 2nd place awards in this meme. (At least MB won on Day 5!)
