Gorgeous. I'm seriously at a loss for words.

I've read some of your stuff before when I just lurked around but never commented(shame on me). You have this minimalist style of only saying what needs to be said which makes every word more powerful. The conflicting emotions are so complicated but you translate them into something we can understand and I really admire that. It's like your inside their minds and because you include small real life events the whole story becomes more believable.

And that last line, making reference to a small detail in the beginning and bringing it all together, was beautiful. Not every love story is perfect and they don't always fit together and some of their pieces are missing but I see why Jiyong can't shake Seunghyun. I hope I get that feeling in my life at least once, that nostalgic homey feeling with someone else.

I also liked the format of the fic, it was very original and presented a neat time line effect with such messy human emotions. But my comment is just plain messy because I can't get my brain to put words together to explain how much I enjoyed this. Excuse me while I re-read this for the fourth time tonight.

it's so interesting you say that about the minimalism bc when i started out i was really overly descriptive and used tons of adjectives/adverbs/etcetc - basically the opposite of i guess what comes across now. but that's good! i'm glad practice and self-editing has produced a (better?) result.

ALSO UNFORTUNATELY i lovelove circularity and book-ending fics so you might... see that a lot... in the future... but if it starts happening too much feel free to scream at me, lol.
