Ok, I promised to write a tutorial of how to make an icon like this:
But I've been a little lazy the last days, so I just didn't write it. But here it finally is!!! ;)
First of all you look for a picture you like. I've used this one:
that I found here: KLICK
Then you decide which part of the image you want to use. You "cut" it out, and resize it to a width of 90px, and a height of about 60-70px.
Then you sharpen that image once.
Now you make a new 100x100px only white image. There you copy/paste the 90x--px image you selected and sharpened before into.
You now adjust the smaller layer that it has 5px space from every border.
You can now insert the text on the free white space either on bottom/top, or on one of the sides.
I've used an about 6px text with the word "lovely" here.
You can as well insert another smaller text...
Finally you can use one of the brushes to get some (like here flowers) images on the blank layer.
Last step: Save your image! ;)
