Boys...Are Stupid.
So, I just told Tyler that I like him.
He called me randomly last Friday and asked to hang out, and I convinced Sean to pick him up. And we spent the next four hours cuddling and flirting hardcore while playing Wii games with some of our other friends. I currently haven't been asleep in 32 hours (i stood in a line for a free $60 ticket to Wicked) and Tyler just woke up from sleeping for 23 hours (he's sick), and I figured what a better time to admit my feelings than when we're both delusional. So I AIM him and ask if he has a moment. He says Yes. I ask if I can call. He immediately gets concerned and asks if I'm alright. I call him. It goes like this:
ME: Do you have a ride up here Friday?
TYLER: What's Friday?
ME: We're going to see My Bloody Valentine and get food at 360 with Laura and Sean, remember?
TYLER: ...No...?
ME: (annoyed) Remember? I told you last Friday to make sure you didn't see MBV ahead of time?!
TYLER: Oh! I remember now! I made plans to go see that with Casie already on Friday or Sunday. [NOTE: Casie's a girl who won't give him the time of day unless she feels like it, and she's been toying with his emotions for a month now, annoying me and the rest of our group]
ME: ...Oh.
TYLER: I guess we'll just make it a fivesome then!
ME: (grits teeth) How are things with you and Casie?
TYLER: A lot better! (she ditched him last weekend to hang out with another guy) Why?
ME: Look, Tyler, I don't want things to change between us, but I just want you to know that...I kinda like you.
TYLER: Oh, I know.
ME: You...you know?
TYLER: I could tell last Friday! Don't worry about it; I've got a lot of friends who've admitted they find me attractive and nothing ever changes between us.
ME: Uh...
So the rest of the phone call consists of actually meaningful dialogue, but nothing about relationships. Then, he tells me his throat is hurting again and we go to AIM and continue to talk. Nothing has changed; if anything, he's more flirty than usual! But still...
Sensei was the one pushing me to tell Tyler I like him. So...where do I go from here? That really didn't accomplish anything. ><
