Cruise CONTINUED- Day 7
Day 7: woke up bright and early to the phone ringing. Who is it? my mother. You see, she has a balcony and can see where we are whereas i am in a box and cant see anything at all. So she called me at 6:30am to run down to her room to see the College Fjords. I got up but Andrew didnt and God did he miss out. The college Fjords was the most breathtaking beautiful places of the entire trip. It was just after sunrise and the sun was slightly shining through the clouded sky- glacier capped mountains surrounded the ship on all sides and when you could bring urself to look down you saw ice bergs were floating around everywhere in the glassy water. . . later on that day my mother and I took it upon ourselves to go to an Art class. . . haha go figure, right? i ended up making an indian sculpture of an orca. For me, i think it turned out surprisingly well. The rest of the day consisted of realxing and drinking pina coladas until dinner. It was black tie night so my family dressed up all pretty, got our picture taken, had a drink in the bar while listening to the string quartet playing in the background and then went and ate an 8 course meal. After the dinner, my brother took off and my parents wanted to gamble a bit before going to see the comedian. So i got to watch my parents lose $100 in 10 mintues- quite entertainging. The comedian was Hilarious and was way better then i expected. . . over all it was a pretty awesome day
