:Her eyes would widen a little once she heard him ask about setting a class on fire..:

"Oh those stuck up journalists wouldn't even take me. As for the reason they threw me out, I missed too many curfews.. and there was this party incident.."

:She would gently hold her head thinking about it..:

"It involved liquor and two very passed out MetU Shark Players..-- Ugh Why am I even telling you this? You are probably searching for BlackMail out of me."

:She leans over towards him eye to eye..:

"But you can go ahead and probe all ya want, cause I have nothing to hide."

:Revealing that famous arrogant smirk. She didn't care if people knew about her MetU mishaps.. Smalltown, she probably is guessing that the whole entire town will know by the next day..:

"And I'm sure you were in similar situations.. like.. getting kicked out of academy schools?"

:Standing up and walking around his desk, slowly she'd circle in her walk.. then she would stop on one side of his chair to look at him:

"You know what Lex, you and I are not that different afterall.. Both have strong passions and know what what we want. We both even have Fathers that we do not want to live under.--
Huh.. Well if I didn't know better I may be starting to like ya there, Richie."

:Like she said before he was a competitor. With his questions, sarcasm.. She never made her match in a challenge before until now..:

Lex stood on his feet, looking down at her a few inches. He cocked his head. Her every word was interesting. "Perhaps we're not, Miss Lane." A lingering grin remained along his features when she had first mentioned his childhood mishaps. Oh, Lex knew too well the story she was relaying. He wasn't a saint. Nowhere near it. And he knew it.

Hell, the whole world knew it. He was only an icon that got everything he had wanted. It came with the Luthor package. But, there were things even his father hadn't known about. And he preferred to keep it that way. He ran the back of his right hand along her left shoulder, smirking. "I'm sorry, I haven't given you the tour of my house, have I?" Lex's eyes met hers as he dropped his hand down at his side.

"You wouldn't be interested in that, would you?" Now, he had his share of rivals. Too many to name. But there were few that could match his sarcasm, his wit, his...mannerisms. She was one of the few females that had come close. But none could surpass he and his father.

Or...so he thought.

:Her hazel-green eyes would lower to look upon his hand that touched her shoulder.. slowly looking back up at him. She doesn't think he has even touched her before. That touch made her pulse rise, but it wasn't necessarily a bad thing.. which suprised her. Once she heard his offer of a tour she snapped back into reality.:

"Hmm, a tour sounds Intriguing." :She was sort of mocking the way rich people spoke..:

"I say a tour to the kitchen first." :She said jokingly..passing by him.. personally a tour sounded a little boring to Lois, but by the smirk on Lex's face, she chose to play a long with it.:

He nodded, walking out in front of her. "Then follow me." Lex was not hitting on Lois Lane. It was just a friendly gesture. He was- er, showing that he held an interest in her that wasn't- Alright, so, who wouldn't want to hit on Lois? She was gorgeous, and the girl knew it. It was how she managed to get her hard-hitting stories. But if you'd asked Lex, she was always hitting something harder than the stories. Now, his challenge was to see if he would allow himself to succumb to it.

Opening the doors to his office, he pointed his fingers down the right hand corridor. "So, tell me, Miss Lane--" He looked over to her as they'd started along. "Why were you so ...enthralled to come to my mansion?" Well, he knew the answer. If were in her shoes-- and he had never been to a mansion before; he wouldn't choose to sleep in a chair.

"Well.. It's not every day where I get to even see a mansion.. So being invited to stay inside one for the night is something I would never pass up. But for you, you probably think 'Oh it's nothing.' Cause I'm sure you stayed in a room at Buckingham Palace or something similar."

:What Lex is incredibly unaware is Lois has a huge thing for Man in power. Which would explain how the legendary lois lane falls for the powerful man of steel. If any man can make her weak in the knees and sweep her off her feet at the same time, he is impossible to resist. Lex was getting there.. after all he did rescue her from the worst night she could possibly imagine. She was really starting to understand why the women in the past have fell for him.. Always figured they were gold-diggers, but there was definitely more to Lex Luthor than his wealth..:

"So tell me.. Mister Luthor.. why were you so willing to let me stay here?-- And don't say it's because you are doing charity work.. cause if you were, I'd see more people walking down these halls than just your butlers." :Smiles, oh yea she's smooth alright and she knows it.:

"Oh, well, the Buckingham Palace doesn't have beautiful girls. I do believe that puts me in first place at the moment." Passing a few more doors, he finally answered her question. "Alright, if we're playing twenty questions-- I wasn't going to let you stay in the Talon where you could wallow in your discomfort." Lex shrugged. "I could have, but, perhaps it also doesn't hurt that I'd like to get to know you a little better. You've made a big impact on my friend Clark Kent. I wanted to see what the fuss was all about first-hand."

He pushed open the door to the kitchen, holding it open for her with a grin. "Was that really so terrible of me?"

"Are you this generous to everyone or just to 'beautiful girls'?"

:She smiled, Anything that Lois loves more than coffee, is compliments. After he pushed the kitchen door open, her smile grew bigger..: "Terrible? That was not exactly the word I would be looking for.."

:Lois would walk inside.. yea his kitchen looked like a five star resturaunt's kitchen would..sbe turned to face him.. She did not think these mind games would last this long, she should have known since she was stubborn, and he was simply not easy to break:

"This is bigger than the apartment.--Got anything sweet?"
