Hey Doctor Who Fans!
In the event you didn't know, the BBC Proms are going on now, and on Saturday, July 24th at 2:30 p.m. EST. The awesome thing is, if you log on to the BBC's iPlayer for BBC Radio 3, you can hear the LIVE broadcast of the Doctor Who Proms, featuring Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, and others! This is a HUGE deal for International folks such as ourselves, what usually get region cock-blocked by the Beeb on their video feeds.
If you have no idea what the BBC Proms are, then the best explanation is that it's a series of classical/contemporary music concerts held during the late summer months. Often there's a tie-in with various BBC programming. Here's a sample of the last Doctor Who Prom held in 2009:
