So I'm still up.
Putting together my project, but at a stand still at the moment because rubber cement + photo paper =/= a cooperating adhesive. The images just peel away. And since it's...3:32am there's no store open for me to go buy a glue stick and/or double sided tape.
So, right now I'm debating on going to sleep or not. I'm not all that tired, but I know that if I lay down and stop being active I'll crash.
I'm beginning to sound like a broken record, but I can't wait for this project to be done. I've spent entirely too long in in front of this screen hardly moving. Not eating the best or sleeping properly. And other little bumps in the road, like Illustrator not wanting to stay open the past few days. Luckily I fixed that tonight.
The end is in sight, I just have to grin and bear it. 15 more hours should do it...sad that that's a short chunk of time at this point.
Anyway, I might as well get in an update while I'm here besides this damn project.
Life is generally good. John and I are well, and he'll be out next month which makes me very happy. Today was his birthday. Wish I could have been there to cheer him up and spoil him a bit because it wasn't too great of a birthday for him.
While John's out we'll be in San Fran for a while, which means we're meeting up with Adria for a night out. Always good times.
And lastly, work is going really well too. Everyone's nice at our store and we all get along and generally have a good time at work. I've gotten 2 mug awards in the last 3 weeks or so, which is awesome. They're pretty much a "great job! here, have some flare to put on your apron." And both managers have been talking about making me into a shift lead, I have a class next week or sometime soon. So, yeah. We'll see about that.
Anyway, I think I'm going to take a nap, since sleeping for only an hour or 2 isn't really going to bed. Night all.
