Ashlee Simpson was the musical guest on SNL .. as she got ready for her 2nd song, the WRONG SONG STARTED TO PLAY!!!!! Instead of a new song, the old tape started rolling. Her band played it cool by going along with the song. She looked totally lost and started to do the ho-down and danced around a bit. As the taped version of her voice was lowered, the band just played the song anyway, as an intrumental...without her. She walked off the stage completely embarrassed, not knowing what to do...until they just cut to a commercial prematurely. Towards the end she went back on stage and said it was her band's fault because her band started playing the wrong song so she didn't know what to do.
