So I didn't finish my nanowrimo novel. November hasn't technically finished yet, but there is only today and tomorrow and I'm at around 28k. So yeah, there's no way I'll finish. I'm not completely disappointed with myself, though. I've been wanting to do it for the last two years and this year was my first year in which I actually did any work. Two years ago, I thought it was a cool idea, last year I couldn't get a plot running, and this year I wrote almost 30,000 words in a month. I'm pretty freaking proud of myself. From what I've heard, a lot of people don't finish or don't finish on their first year. I made it more than halfway this year, so hopefully next year I'll be able to.
CHRISTMAS IS COMING UP! I'm super super super excited! I adore Christmas. I love buying presents for people and I love that during this time of year, everybody's happy and shopping and instead of buying things for ourselves, we're buying them for other people and the people we love. It's amazing. I love giving gifts and going to stores and seeing them all pretty and lit up and I love red Starbucks cups.
