Onsen Log!
They all needed a vacation, Excellen had decided. A few clicks at the computer, and soon enough, she had e-mailed everyone at base a message with the heading "ONSEN TRIP!!" Everyone was invited, of course, even Boota. She giggled while her brain conjured up images of -- of men. (Hey, a girl was allowed to have an imagination!) It was brilliant, brilliant weather, and who needed an excuse to go to the onsen? She already had her bags half-packed for a weekend stay.
The weekend came soon enough, and Excellen found herself standing outside the doors of the onsen. Very traditional, she thought. She could even imagine that she was in old Japan, if it weren't for the modern appliances lying about. Grinning, she thought of steam and comfort and all the joys of being at an onsen. The train ride here had been packed, with most of the base interested in going to the onsen. She had her fun taunting boys, and, well, she wasn't quite done with that yet. She had a few tricks up her pant legs for this trip! There wasn't any way she was simply going to let an opportunity like this slide!
Even if they'd separated the men's and women's area, Excellen would still find a way to have her fun. The men's area was on the left and the women's was on the right, which was, quite frankly, quite boring. If the bamboo wall that separated the two sides didn't have holes, then by all means she was just going to make one. With a laugh, she dramatically announced the presence of the hot springs to the others in their group, and she stood back and watched as the others began to filter in. (She wasn't trying to see beyond the curtain to the men's areas. Honest. Oops, her fingers were crossed behind her back? Ahaha, what a coincidence.)
She'd bet any amount of money that this trip was going to be a lot of fun.
