River Safari- Tourist for the Day

Dec 16, 2013 11:19

We are going to start work soon! (officially) so decided to head down to do some sightseeing at our very own RIVER SAFARI.

Met for breakfast before proceeding to the destination and since it's so far away, I was late (again) and didnt really get to eat anything. Took 927 from Choa Chu Kang interchange and woah the queue was long. Paid using OCBC card and managed to get a 10% discount- Typical Singaporeans who will not let any chance of saving money slip by~.

Lets go!The River Safari is indeed a nice place to go too, where you get to take a day off from the usual hectic lifestyle and get to enjoy the sights of animals, fishes and at the same time learn about them. There was also the history of the different parts of the world

Fishy~

Too BIG!

Piranha~

Mississippi~

Lets learn about ancient fishes..

Whats an outing without a group photo...
But of course the main highlight was the PANDAS! So cute! The place was airconditioned so as to let the pandas live more comfortably in the hot humid weather of ours. Many different informative boards were around to educate us on the fun facts of pandas and their likes. Managed to catch KaiKai outside noming on his bamboo while JiaJia was hiding somewhere.. too bad..

Dont disturb me, I'm eating..

And whats the best way to earn tourists' money other than SOUVENIR SHOPS! Went crazy inside as the items were really KAWAII~ But there were quite expensive too, decided to snap some photos as souvenirs then heh....

My 2 beautiful JIEs...

Couldnt resist and we each got a keychain~

PANDA FTW~
Met Brother James for dinner at Northpoint~
