End of Event Meme

1. Which hour was most daunting for you? Around 1am (Hour 21, I think?) I was soooo ready for a nap but convinced myself to stay awake.

2. Could you list a few high-interest books that you think could keep a Reader engaged for next year? Will have to think about it. All I know is towards the end all I wanted was light & fluffy.

3. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year? NA

4. What do you think worked really well in this year’s Read-a-thon? How well organized everything was.

5. How many books did you read? 7 (completed), 1 (incomplete)

6. What were the names of the books you read?
The Mists of Avalon - by Marion Zimmer Bradley (only finished Part 1)
The Haunted Southland: Ghosts of Southern California by Richard Senate
"Thief!" said the Cat by Louise Munro Foley
The Delany Sisters' Book of Everyday Wisdom
Love Online by Kristin Billerbeck and Nancy Toback
Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli
C.S. Lewis: Letters to Children edited by Lyle W. Dorsett & Marjorie Lamp Mead
Samuri Girl #3 by Carrie Asai

7. Which book did you enjoy most? oooh hard question because they were all so different so I enjoyed them in different ways.
Stargirl or C.S. Lewis: Letters to Children. I was really enjoying The Mists of Avalon but haven't completed it so I don't want to answer with that one.

8. Which did you enjoy least?
The Haunted Southland: Ghosts of Southern California

9. If you were a Cheerleader, do you have any advice for next year’s Cheerleaders?
NA

10. How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? What role would you be likely to take next time?
Definitely will participate again as a Reader. I didn't volunteer for Cheerleading but did comment/cheer as much as I could through comments and twitter.

Reading Sanctuary
Mini Challenge

Were you able to escape the hustle and bustle of life? yes, which kind of surprised me.

Where did you do the majority of your reading? In my livingroom. I thought I was going to bounce between livingroom, diningroom, & bedroom. I thought I was going to spend most of my time in my bedroom.

Did you leave the house (or wherever you were) at any time during the challenge? Never left.

Me on Twitter: I'm now standing up, eating with one hand, book in the other. I could blame this on #readathon but this is a normal thing for me.

Which inspired the following from BethFishReads

Hold book in one hand / Walking, eating, or standing / try to stay alert #readathon haiku for @ morethanfine
