Anyone wanting to make some money this Friday??
I know practically no one reads this thing anymore... I never use it.. But I wanted to pose a question/request/ job offer.
I am in desperate need of a new laptop. Being as Black Friday is... this friday.. I'm hoping to get the laptop I want. It's normally $749.99 and is on sale at Best Buy for... $379.99 on Black Friday.. That's $370 off. I figure that's a good deal. It's an HP Core Solo 15.4" Widescreen with 512mb RAM and 80GB hard drive. I really only use my laptop for music, internet, writing papers, making PP presentations and watching movies (so I'm guessing the RAM will be enough--I can add to it if necessary--it's capable of that). I have been told HP is one of the best brands for laptops. And this particular laptop, I believe, comes with Windows XP Media Center Edition including a remote control, DVD/CD burner, etc.
Now, onto the reason why I'm posting this. You see, I am currently at school at BYU-Idaho which is in Rexburg, ID (meaning, no Best Buy). The closest best buy is in Idaho Falls (about a 35 minute drive), but I have no car to get there. This laptop is only on sale from 5am to noon. Meaning you have to camp out outside Best Buy starting at like.. midnight at least, to get in line. Best Buy, I believe, hands out coupons to people, one at a time. It's harder to get your desired item at Best Buy than Walmart, but walmart has crappy laptops for sale this year. Now... I am willing to generously compensate anyone who is willing to get me a laptop early friday morning at Best Buy. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me out!! I will even throw in your favourite kind of cookies (when I get back Dec. 20th-ish). I am not made of money so the cheaper I can get a laptop, the better.
