John Kerry already lost, and he has now returned to windsurfing on his billion dollar estate all day. Something tells me he doesn't particularly care that Random Mormon Kid From Georgia is 74% Republican (or at least thinks she is.)

Honestly, if you want boys (and people in general) to like you more, maybe should make a bit of an effort to stop looking like a total jackass when it comes to politics. Yes, that's harsh, but being nice hasn't really seemed to get through.

Try actually reading about an issue or two some time, rather than just taking everything your conservative mormon parents tell you as the literal truth and gospel.

What exactly can you tell me about why John Kerry was a bad candidate, and why George Bush is a good president? Really, please give me three good things Bush has accomplished for this country. What core Republican party concepts do you agree with? Honestly, give it some thought for once ( ... )

Go back and read some entries from, say, November. The phrase "Kerry Fairies" comes to mind...

Pent up frustration...yep. It is. I'm really sick of otherwise intelligent people falling in line like drunken sheep because they never question what they're told.

This is like the 12th thing in a string of quotes/conversations...it's not just the quiz.

Other than that, sure, she's a perfectly cool person...but apparently you completely missed my point. It's not her political leanings that are retarded, it's the fact that she didn't put any thought into them.

livejournal's not the place for deep political conversation. she's very smart, and im sure if you wanted to hear her exact views on Kerry and politics, she'd be happy to give them to you, in a private conversation.

also, this is TOTALLY her livejournal. if you disagree with something shes saying on here, dont read it. but she has every right to post what she wants.

maybe making a counter-post in your lj would have been a better option?

Actually Gage, my dear boy. I am informed. I watch CNN everyday. I have researched many of these issues (for personal gain and for school projects), and I have my own opinion. And one of my opinions is that I don't really like John Kerry. I have my reasons. I know John Kerry doesn't give a crap about me, do you honestly think I thought he does? It was just a remark. A random remark. Get over yourself. Not everything is a major controversial issue, so stop trying to make everything into one. Find something better to complain about than 4 words I said, in MY journal, about a dinky quiz ( ... )

On Maynard finding Jesus--
Nothing's wrong with that. I just didn't want Tool or A Perfect Circle to break up, being bands I enjoy, but both would inevitably happen if Maynard significantly changed his religious views (take a look at some of his lyrics.) If you'd bothered to read the comments you'd know that.

On watching CNN every day--
Try reading foreign news sources from places like Britain. They're a lot less biased than, say, Fox News.

On your researching your opinions--
You just contradicted me about 15 times and didn't back up a single one of them.

People assume that because I express a lot of opinions that I think I'm omniscient. Not true, but take a second to think about how circular the statement "You always think you're right" is--if I'm arguing for a certain point or opinion, of course I think I'm right. Why else would I even argue it? I could easily say the same to you.

On marriage--
Of course I realize that that is consistent with your religious view. What you have failed to consider is that your religious ( ... )
