I assume crossdressing Watanuki is just fanservice or personal kink of CLAMP u.u;

I know it's probably just fanservice and we shouldn't take those random pics into account, but I think it's those stupid random pics which lead to the anime director to dress Watanuki in a lolita dress and act all natural (=A=)

Nope, but it happened in a recent random picture they drew for the private board, so, after the first anime episode, it finally disturbed me a lot.

To be fair to Watanuki's character, I don't think weird illustrations like that (which annoy me too D:) are supposed to reflect canon things like the fact that he thinks Doumeki dressed as a girl is funny. If he had a choice, I'm sure he wouldn't dress like that in a million years.

I think CLAMP doesn't mean to make us think those illustrations are to be taken seriously, but hell, why always Watanuki? Why don't they make Syaoran crossdress which is 999999999 times more canon??? And adding happy crossdresser Watanuki to the anime was awful.

At least it's in really, really random silly drawings. They also have Horitsuba!Fye and Kurogane in maid outfits |D;;

The crossdressing pics make me headdesk mostly because moronic fans will later use them as an excuse to say that Watanuki (or Fye) dressing up as girls is totally canon!11.

Yeah, if it was only one random illustration like the Horitsuba!Fay and Kurogane one I wouldn't mind, but it seems CLAMP decided he's the official crossdresser or something? As I told Anna, they should make it Syaoran instead, which is more IC and more canon.

I think what bothers me the most is that they're making Watanuki "the uke character" by constantly dressing him like a girl compared to Doumeki. To me Watanuki is uke already, and I'm tired of the typical BL manga stereotype of "the uke dresses like a girl! He doesn't like it... But he's the uke, so he'll have to deal with it~"

I think conundrum_x_x has a point about those pics being done by Nekoi.

And I think the whole point of it is that it's NOT official. It's just crack doodles drawn for fun.

I'm more tired of fandom thinking that a silly pic like that means it's ZOMGCANON. Or that because Watanuki is crossdressing, that means he's the ukiest uke that ever uked, and he will sob and cry during sex and call Doumeki "Shizuka-chan" and go all "IYAAN~ NOT THERE1!" at him.

Well, that's another point of view, and it's definitely better than "he dresses like the woman because he's the uke ♥" (=A=;;; *Note* I do like Watanuki being the uke, but I don't need him dressed like a girl to reassure me that.
