[Soubi gently sits her down on the bed and fishes a lollipop out of his pocket. It had been Kio's, but he is sure that Kio won't miss a pudding lollipop or two. It's not the healthiest treat he could be giving to her, but she looks like she needs something sweet. He hands it to Yuiko.]

Don't cry, Yuiko-chan. Why don't you take this to cheer yourself up? We're in a house that people sometimes come to. I don't know how or why, but people are always in and out. Ritsuka comes here, sometimes. We'll wait for him together, and he can play with you when he arrives.

I came here just a few days later. People can be from many different times here.

[Not that this will make any sense to Yuiko, but he can try.]

Next time Ritsuka gets here, it may be from a time after you got here. Or he may be from when he was a younger child.
