I've enjoyed your fic immensely. :) It is great to know that there'll be new chapter every Sunday and I'm already waiting eagerly for what is going to happen next week. I love the way you write the characters. Katniss is really IC and so is Peeta, Prim is more teenager but I can imagine her growing up like that. Gale is maybe a bit too demandig, but it has been already a few years, so.

I also thought that your idea about same-sex-marriages and practicality was very suitable for District 12. And Peeta's reaction was IC as well.

Actually, I'd like to translate this fic into Finnish if I can - I promise to translate all the possible comments for you and give you all the credit, of course. :) But I think that there are many Finnish THG fans who could enjoy this story as well.

Well I love all your THG-fics, so I could basicly translate all of them. :D I'm a slow translator, though, so I'll start with this one.

(And translating gives me a good reason to re-read this fic while I wait for the next part.)

Thank you! I get why Suzanne Collins didn't really deal with sexuality in the books, but it could have been interesting. Personally I think the Districts wouldn't have an inherent problem with people being gay, but they'd distance themselves nonetheless because it was something that was embraced in the Capitol.

I love how authentic this feels. Everyone's reactions are so organic, including the tertiary characters. And the star-crossed love between Astrid and Primrose is just plain heartbreaking. I'm very much looking forward to how District 12 reacts to this breech of "tradition" (which does make sense in their society, which you've explained brilliantly well).

Also? I LOVE that Katniss now has a t-shirt that says Mellark. Can't wait to see Gale's reaction (I don't mean that in a mean way, btw).

Hey I am going to read this in September. I gotta try and read 4 books for a book club by Sept 1 so I'm off fanfics for a while. lol. Just wanted to tell ya, so you don't think your losing readers. Nice to see there are 3 new chapters waiting to be read :D
