I swear I'm alive....kinda.
Let's see....what is new since my last update?
I had to move out of my dorm and back home because my art professor totally fucked me over and I lost my scholarship. I somehow managed to still have enough money to stay in school, though. So, school is going pretty okay so far. My friends Eric, Jarnard, and I are doing a music show this semester. It will be played on the Barton/Wilson Education channel. I'm the director/technical director/soundboard operator/whatever else needs to be done that they either can't or won't do. It might be kinda tough considering it's just us 3, but I think it will be pretty cool. It's going to be a general music show, but with a huge focus on the local music scene. We're gonna have album reviews, interviews, and a in studio performance for every show. I think we are going to do a show like every other week or something. This coming up week we are having Scarlet Undercover on and I think we might have Sunset Greets the Moon on at some point. If anyone knows any bands that would be interested, let me know.
Family stuff has been really shitty. I won't go into it, but let's just say that my sister is a really bad person. On a plus side, though, my family is super proud of me for not being a bad person. I found out that I have unknowingly been like a role model for one of my older sisters' kids. They think I'm awesome, so that's cool.
Will and I are going to see In Flames live again. This time we're going to see them at the Norva. I love that place. They are touring with Trivium, Devil Driver, and Zao. The new album is awesome. Will ripped it off the Interweb, but we have pre-ordered copies coming sometime. I think we are going to see Children of Bodom at some point too. So far, this is a good year for concerts.
What else? Oh yeah, I stretched my ears again tonight. I'm at 1/2 inch now and they're purdy. I actually went to Cape Fear to get them tapered. I haven't been there in a while, because I've been stretching them myself since I was at like 2 or 0. It was really good to see Steve. I love that guy. Which reminds me, I really need to go visit Justin.
Will got me a really nice digital camera for Christmas. I just love that damn thing.
Gee, I think that might be all. I don't really have an exciting life, do I?
