writing again!
I am thrilled to report that I sat down just now and wrote the first paragraph of my memoir about shelter work. Finally got that ball rolling. It's a lot easier now that I'm not there. I can step back and look at the whole thing. Plus, it was hard thinking about the difficult parts while I was living them. Enough stress just going to work every day, I didn't want to come home and conjure it all up again.
