i bet everyone wishes they were danielle...
We
went to sleep at one one Fri woke up at two took a
taxi to a bus. Then road a bus for 2 hours. These are
not regular buses however. They are really intersting.
you just get on and hope there is a seat if htere isnt
then you stand for 2 hours. Plus no air con, windows
open, squished filipinos....its interesting travel! So
we got on the bus around 4 and then got to the
mountains around 6 am. Then we hiked through the
Philippine jungle for 3 hours!!!! Oh m,y goodness!!!!
Can you say beautiful!!!! We finally got to camp and
set up our tents then we went to some bnueatiful huge
waterfalls!!! I really cant explain it. I will ahv eto
show you the pics when i get back! The funny part
though is that I got 2 leeches on my feet at one fo
teh waterfalls!!!! can you believe it! I ahve had
leeches. I bet you can just imagine me freaking
out!!!! i got them off but my foot bled for about 30
minutes. it didnt hurt htough! that was good! then i
climbed up part of the mountain just holding on to
roots and rocks. it was really steep adn we had
nothing holding us. I was so scared but i just didnt
look down! Thenwe didnt have plates or silverware so
we used banana leaves as plates and ate with our hands
the whole time! It was so much fun! It had rained that
day so the next morning when we tried to come down the
trails were unbelievably muddy. I basically slid down
the whole thing! I dont think i have ever been that
dirty befoer in my life! Wow...there is so much to say
about it! i will just have to tell you all the stories
when i get home!
