Social anxiety sucks
So, this is my birthdday weekend. I met this girl at school and we were going to do this combined birthday thing. Well, that feel through. First, none of my friends were going to be there so I already felt out numbered. Second, I went to the wrong place, she said she was going to try to get reservations there and I went there, only she made the reservations somewhere else. Third, i couldn't find the damn place! We were communicating over the phone and I just felt like a big problem and her voice changed tone and everything so I told her that I was just going to go home and she just went, "Okay!" and that was it. Like I really had just made her birthday a bother. This sucks, im 23 and I feel like I'm 16 again, trying to fit in with my friends but realizing that I don't.
