sobs, thank you for indulging me even though I blew my cover before I even.... wrote this fic.... but who else can I trust with a comprehensive knowledge of kai's persona :c at least I managed to surprise you with the twist?? hopefully?? though in similar fashion I should confess that I totally guessed the original fic was you so it wasn't too hard to get on your wavelength~~ you always tackle some of the most exciting AUs and I'm super happy that I was given the opportunity to play around in one *__* I'm the kind of person who gets hung up on the small technicalities when trying to build an alternate universe so I'm consistently impressed at how you fearlessly just sort of take universes by the horns and dive into the action. it was a lot of fun working with the framework you set up :)

I definitely wanted to get across the casual cruelty of the industry and that everything, including personal lives, is commodified with a price affixed so I'm glad you liked the reinterpretation n__n lu han here is harsher than I'd typically write, but I think anyone in entertainment would have to be a bit harder around the edges if the industry were manufacturing actual robots as idols......... anyway, I'm sorry that I wrote yet another fic where lukai don't get together :( next time I promise to at least kill off that one guy ok
