a certain country barges into another country to liberate and spread the superior idea of democracy. Thousands of lives are lost through extreme acts of violence, resistance, and brutal warfare. Citizens live in a period of terror and extreme fear because any sort of differing opinion leads to the instant lable of a terrorist who is working against liberty and her virtue. The occupied citizens face the inability to express their political opinions because that sort of action could lead to death by either the occupiers or their fellow citizens.
A National Assembly is then elected and a totalitarian society is formed [in which it is refereed to as a democracy]. The superior country precedes to control the occupied territory and its citizens while enforcing the new liberating government; which in fact isn't free of suppression or violence.
The citizens in the superior country are divided in opinion over the actions of their leaders but they cannot sway the tyrannical actions and beliefs of their republican government.
