Updating is for Fags!
Its been a while since a substantial post my dear readers! So here is my life as of now.
I have heard from my dear heart. He is doing well and enjoying ye olde sande boxxe. Some of you might have heard rumors that he is coming back to Richmond for his leave. That rumor is false. I will be joining him in Scotland/Sweden for two weeks of fun down the Whiskey Trail visiting his family land of Braemer, famous for the annual Highland Games. Unfortunately we will be traveling in July and missing the Games but there is always next time. I am excited about visiting Edinburgh and Glasgow to see the Scottish goth/industrial scene and the Swedish goth/industrial scene as well as the scenery. I think he is a little more interested in backpacking and walking around the mountains that I am but I so ready for this vacation. I wanna see how the country side compares to that of Wales, which I fell in love with when I was living in Belgium. I will be getting plastered along side the one I love, spending ridiculous amounts of money, and having sex all the time in a foreign country. Unfortunately, the drinking age of Sweden is near that of the US being 20. I will still be 19 at the time of travel but we are staying with an old war buddy of his and his Swedish wife so there will be plenty of pre-gaming. Ahh just like home. I am planning all that I want to do with what he wants to do and it will be loads of fun with lots of eating weird and terrible things (ie Black Pudding and Haggis, I have to try them or I will hate myself later) plus remembering all the good food I enjoyed when I lived in Europe (ie Beans and Toast for breakfast, Spotted Dick, Meat Pies, SMILEY Potato Cakes! MM!), drinking heavily and authentically, exploring the Highlands, enjoying the tar baths of Sweden, BLACK METAL!, the foreign goth scenes (mmm death rockers!) etc. Much cuddling to be had too ^.^
Rocks is alive and that is good. Dancing at Fallout has been sparse but a guaranteed money maker.
Holly and I will be getting an apartment together. We get along and have similar interests so I think it will go well.
