She looked at her reflection in the sideview mirror. Her eyes were hollow with black mascara under her eyes. She thought she looked beautiful and she new inner beauty shined more. Her lips were pursed and her tired eyes told only half the story. Her body felt wary and her mind felt worn out as she wondered if the fantasies she desired as a young girl would ever come true of if she'd ever have the happily ever after she dreamed of. Maybe thats why she hated those "happily ever after" stories, because she was fearful thats all they were, stories; not true, made up. She sighed and examined her heart in the mirror. Her eyes were dull and the sunset didnt brighten them. Her heart was over extended, like her pocketbook. She didnt know what direction to turn. She felt like she was on a one way street going the wrong way, confused, startled, frightened; it was all a mistake and reverse was no longer an option.
