More like Good Thursday!!
My friends OWN. we went to the beach and stuff.
I watched the fire on rhodine yesterday. It was crazy-intense. While I was there, I got interviewed by a reporter for channel 9. Afterwards, a fireman asked me for my number and gave me his. Then a cop told me he could drive me back to my car if I needed. I was parked 60 yards away. [in other words-WTF.]
I was on the radio three times today because the dj liked my name. [in other words, my mom rules.]
Thursday was too crazy for my own good.
p.s. Do this walk to the city thing for my sister.
I am very excited about this event, and I'd like to encourage all of you to attend with me. A group of concerned citizens will be making a pilgrimage downtown and will be sleeping there for the night to raise awareness about this issue and to show our solidarity with the children of Africa. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Northern Uganda is the worst humanitarian crisis in the world today because of the lack of attention.
1.6 million people are forcibly displaced.
20,000-50,000 children abducted to fight as soldiers.
Tens of thousands of children commuting nightly.
130 people die per day in northern Uganda due to violence.
