Danny Im, also known by his Korean name Tae Bin (태빈), is a Korean singer and the youngest member of the Korean hip hop group 1TYM and YG Family. He debuted as part of 1TYM in 1998. On June 12, 2004 he released his first solo album under the name Taebin. Using Danny during his 1TYM days, he is known for his smooth R&B vocals, and often performs with his friend and fellow k-pop artist SE7EN. Taebin speaks both English and Korean fluently.
Fans know him under his artist name Danny as member of the popular hip-hop group 1TYM. He has stated that he prefers being called Danny whilst working with 1TYM, and Taebin when doing solo-work. While he was the leading vocal, he also rapped like the rest of the members, in various songs such as 'What You Gonna Do,' and 'One Time For Your Mind' . After the release of 1TYM's fourth album Once N 4 All in 2003, he returned to his fans with the release of his solo album “TAEBIN of 1TYM”, which showcased full range of his sound potential rather than hip-hop sounds to which he is accustomed. The main track of this album "The Reason Why I Close My Eyes" is a mid-tempo song featuring mellow vocals and string arrangements.
His 12th track, "TaBu (feat. Park Teddy)" was banned in Korea due to the song 'being thick with sexual intentions.' A music video was also supposed to be filmed for the song, but as it was banned, it was never made. Taebin expressed his disappointment on this ban by stating that "TaBu" was one of his favourite tracks on the album, and that he only wants to show an amazing love through his voice.

!!! This album is totally download-worthy. Taebin is a great singer and the album features other amazing artists like SE7EN and 1TYM. My personal favourites are "The Reason I Close My Eyes", "Please Don't Go" and "Each Other" because his voice sounds so soft and he really shows what he's got.
